? about dosage of tamoxifen i got

I have some tamoxifen but a bit confused on the dosage.
On the box it says "Tamoxifen B.P. 20 mg (as Citrate)

Is this 20 mg of pure Tamoxifen?

or is it 20 mg of Tamoxifen Citrate?

Tamoxifen Citrate is less potent, and should be dosed at an extra 30%.

Agreed, 30.4mg tamoxifen citrate= 20mg Tamoxifen.


the pharm company im familiar with produces both tamox citrate and tamox, each is labeled accordingly, but "Nolvadex" is technically tamoxifen citrate sooo read the insert that came with, that will give you the most definitive answer. If it doesnt contact the company directly
