Abbreviated training

Anyone every experiment with abbreviated training? Im currently doing 2 workouts Every 3rd day. Both are full body.
1)
Squat
Db bench
Neutral Pulldown
Calves
2)
Parallel deadlift
Seated press
Db row
Dip
Calves
Anyone else train in this fashion?
I think its provably the smartest way ivr trained. Its all hard towards increased poundage. Low sets. Low reps. 3/3 rep cadence.
 
Yes, I've done it in different forms. Everyone wants to add volume, but working hard with brief workouts definitely works. People are afraid to try it, but most of the time once people give it an honest shot, if they are truly working to failure, they see great results. Not saying volume doesn't work and have its place, but this works too.
 
What's always worked for me.....is getting stronger in an exercise......directly. Meaning to Me....increasing my 3, 4, 5, or 8-10 rep max....regardless of exercise. I NORMALLY do just one work set and increase by small increments. That always relates to direct increases in strength and size
