A Scrambled Egg Recipe for the Low Carber

This is really quite simple to make and tastes like heaven. I eat this every morning for breakfast during the week.

What you need: 6-7 whole eggs, 2 tblspns. heavy whipping cream, cheese of your choice (Colby Jack), meat of your choice (Turkey), seasoned salt and seasoned pepper.

All you do is whip up the eggs in a bowl with the heavy whipping cream and pour it in the pan. Add the seasonings, cheese, and meat. For the meat left over Turkey from Thanksgiving or Ham works great. I've tried different types of cheese and Colby Jack tastes the best to me.

Nutrition Facts:
6 eggs: 36g Protein, 27g Fat, 6g Carbs.
2 tblspns. Heavy Whipping Cream: 10g Fat, 2g Carbs.
1/4 cup Colby Jack: 8g Protein, 6g Fat, 1g Carbs.
Turkey: 5g Protein, 1g Fat, 0 Carbs.

Total: 49g Protein, 44g Fat, 9g Carbs.
 
It makes the eggs thicker, kinda like using milk but I think it tastes way better like this.
 
If you need to refer to this to cook eggs, (low carb or not) you probably shouldn't be cooking.

This is kind of a staple of mine when I'm CKD though, has been for many years.

Never thought of you using cream in eggs though....

Though I'd prefer bacon over turkey, and possibly replace the cheese with avocado.
