A lot of people who get BF readings done are miscalculated. He looks good but 8%? Hardly.

None taken. I know that bf is almost always way off. Single digits is definitely very low. I might be approaching the 9% line based on Shawn Phillips saying at about 10% your abs start to become visible. Of course, he could be wrong too.

It's very individual.

If you had thicker abdominals then they'd appear more prevelant.
 
Bobo is designing my bulking program right now. In the interim, I might buy some of that taraxtone **** to see if water retention could be skewing appearance based bf estimates. If I do it and anything much comes from it I'll post comparison shots.
 
I don't know if this has been asked anywhere or not, but how easy/hard was it to follow Bobo's cutting plan?

(Looking forward to reading on your bulk with him too by the way!)

It is easy! Just eat what he says.. I had NO problems.. I invented a ****-ton of recipes that make eating like this, like a walk in the park.

i've also heard that watercress soup will act a diuretic.
 
I just meant because I feel like a whale at 13-14% (even though I'm 6'4", 220), and he looks pretty damn lean. All estimating though.

In the entire 8 weeks I felt hungry no more than 5 times. The diet is easy to follow. I'm sure if I stayed on until I was at 5% it would have become harder, but getting to the level I arrived at was easy.
 
That's good to hear, I'm thinking about signing up after I get back into town and get settled into my new job. Looking forward to some good cutting and then getting Bobo to help me add some good quality muscle later on.

Those sound like familiar goals :thumbsup:

I have gotten as lean or leaner than I am now, but always at the price of all the muscle I had gained in the off-season. I have finally learned to cut without severe catabolism. Just think of all the time, supps, food and money wasted before. That in itself makes the program a worthwhile investment.
