That was almost 10 years ago so its believable. Better systems then what I had at that time.

Google continues to use Pentium II and III processors due to their low power usage and reliability. Clustering many low end computers and making them work as one is what provides their great computing power.

Many years ago this one ISP used really old Sun hardware (IPX/IPC's) to do webhosting on, I was amazed. They were a cheapskate ISP
