A good question

Any chemists out in anabolic land?
I'm planning on running an epiandro cycle, but also take abilify (via injection). Now I'm reading that most oral steroids are digested via CYP3A4, the same enzyme that my abilify is digested by... specifically CYP3A4 AND D6. Now for my question. Will this decrease the oral bioavailability in my body of said oral steroid?

I hate ability. I know that doesn't answer the text ion. To be honest I don't know the answer. I just know I gained 137lbs of fat in a year and a half taking it.

Oh I plan on coming off of it soon lol it does suck I haven't gained much fat but my stomach has distended due to bloat

Idk about epiandro but I'm reading online now that atleast DHEA is metabolized through a different pathway called the s9 fraction which contains enzyme p450 so I'm hoping it doesn't interfere with my cycle

In case anyone needs to know I found the answer via online chat with a Walgreens pharmacist. (Shoulda did this before the post). Turns out there is no interaction between abilify and more common used oral steroids, Therefore likely none between epiandro and abilify, and since there is no interaction there is no competition for the enzyme which means those of us on abilify can run orals without the worry of our cycles being weakened or less potent by competition of enzymes. Yay!

I would have said that since you are injecting it - the Liver's CYPx Enzymes aren't involved at all (or very minimally for any "passes" after the 1st - which injections don't under-go). Also - anything related to CYPx is usually in the area of making the drugs/PHs *more effective* (which can be dangerous when talking about drugs) - when you inhibit CYPx with stuff like Grapefruit based add-ons, it keeps the compounds around longer - which is good for PHs, bad for drugs. It's like "Liver Friendly" Methylation.

But you found your answer, so cool.
