A Cubsfan and his MAN package.. Pure PF3 Log

Tues:

Wanted to get back to gym, just to touch some weights and get back at it. Nothing major

Still dealing with sore throat and mild fever, but it hasn't turned into full blown illness yet.

PF3 1 scoop pre and 1 scoop post.. I'm going to start doing pre/intra/post

Incline DB Press 5x10 50lbs
ss w BW pushups

VBar pushdowns 5x10 100
ss w Cable flies 5x10 35

Decline Hammer Strength Press 5x10 1pps.. Should have done more weight, probably just wasted my time, but feeling like crap

Pec Deck 5x10 100 used these to really get a good stretch

One Arm pushdowns 5x10 22.5 lbs

Notes: I wish my body would either get sick, and get it over with... or just get better, this in between sick is lame

- I figured even though I went light I would be sore from not working out for a week. No soreness at all
- Trying to catch up on ready the other logs, it still appears recovery is up for most loggers

Recovery and leaning out are the two. That sickness is going around, I had it, my wife and a bunch others I know

Leaning out, I will be a good judge of that lol. I still have 55lbs to lose haha

Weird that the stuff is going around so early this year. Better now than the holidays though.

Weds:

Decided to do some cardio since I have neglected it for so long. Even though weight training is said to help drop fat fast, my overweight self really needs to get back into the swing of lifting/cardio because any little bit helps.

1 scoop PF3 with breakfast
1 scoop pre
1 scoop before bed

Elliptical 10 min warm-up
Elliptical 15 mins HIIT style sprinting/slow down

Bike 15 mins catching up on sportscenter

Wanted to do some battling ropes, but still feeling under the weather

Today: I woke up with ears/nose all congested and my equilibrium is all off causing me to be super dizzy all day so far. I hate this feeling

damn, seems like a lot of people are getting sick around the same time, seems too early for that still :/

guessing your recovery is still improved on PF3

Yeah i know a lot of people catching this illness. I can't believe it's not even fall yet and everyone is sick.

Thurs:

Head was still very cloudy, dizziness was not as bad as it was in morning.

Took no preworkout since I didn't want to push it, and become super dizzy again

1 Scoop PF3 Pre
1 Scoop PF3 Post Hopefully I feel close to 100% this weekend so I can kick it up, and up my dosage

Light treadmill warmup 10 mins

Leg Press sled:
1pps x10
2pps x10
3ppsx10
4ppsx10
5ppsx10 Haven't done legs for a while so, started heading back down at this point
4ppsx12
3ppsx14
2ppsx16
1ppsx20 Had a great pump going even though I took no pump product

Wanted to sweat out some sickness so I did 60lb DB farmer walks 3x1 lap around gym

Leg Curl machine
SS w/ leg extensions 4x12 100lbs

That was it for the day

Notes: Felt pretty good pump in leg, usually with no pre I wouldn't really have good pump. Could be because I had taken some time off

- Very Minimal soreness today, granted I didn't go heavy, but I assumed I would be more sore. The logs seem to speak for themselves on recovery, unless we all are still riding high on placebo.

Weekend:

Had my daughters this weekend after not seeing them for over 2 weeks. Did not make it to gym. Starting to feel better though, temperature has gone down, and throat is no longer sore.

Took PF3 Morning and night with meals.

One thing to mention is my favorite thing has to be the no GI stress. When I take whey it usually blows my stomach out within 15mins.

Monday:

Still wanting to drop some of the crap weight I gained in Vegas. Went back and did one of my 10x10 routines from last Spring.

Basically just focused on doing 10x10 with under 30 sec rest to keep heart rate elevated

PF3 taken Pre/Intra/Post

Elliptical 15 min warmup to get HR going

Seated Rows 2 plates per side 10x10
SS w/ Alternating curls 10x10 40

Wide grip pull down 10x10 100 lbs
SS w/ Hammer curls 10x10 35

Face Pulls 10x10 50 <-- 10 sets of face pulls with minimal rest and tight squeeze had me pumped like crazy

Straight Bar 21's 3 times now way I could do 10 lol

Assisted pull-ups 3 sets to failure

Notes: Recovery is still stupid. Even 10x10 I feel great. I should do 10x10 real heavy, that would get me sore lol... With all these logs, and everyone saying recovery has been insane, where has all the discussion regarding PF3 gone? I would have thought some people would be calling BS by now

- I only used Alphamine for Pre, no pump product. However my pump was great. I usually don't get that good of a pump w/o a pre. I did have a lot of carbs sat/sun/mon so that could play a role I suppose

I will be adding in the Lucine now that I know how my recovery etc is with PF3

Discussion is one thing; attacks are another. What's to discuss when the consensus seems to be that PF3 aids tremendously in recovery? Try that heavy 10 x 10 and see if you can push through it. You know you want to!

Tuesday: Wife wanted to skip gym so we could take the dog for a walk.

Wed: Decided to do some 10x10 with moderate weight.
I am still up like 7lbs from my vacation. I really need to work on getting calories down again.

Pre: 1 scoop PF3/1.5 scoops High Volume
Intra: 1 scoop PF3

Decided against DB presses, so I could easily do 10x10 with 30 sec rest

Incline Press 10x10 2 plates per side = 200lbs
SS w/ Decline Press 10x10 2pps=200lbs 30 sec or less rest. Slow negative.

I had to really fight to get 10 reps for so many sets. I was pausing for a bit. Pump in arms/shoulders/tris/and chest came on real fast within first 2 sets!

Cable Crossovers 10x10 42lbs <--- I was already feeling it big time here, my form kinda sucked, but I pushed through
SS w/ vbar pushdowns 10x10 85lbs I tried doing 125 for 10x10, but that wasn't going to happen

Pushups 5x failure I was failing by 3-5 reps easily

SS w/ one arm cable pushdowns 5x10 22lbs Did these just so I could stare at the pump in my tris

Not as much volume as I wanted to do. I probably should have done 1 plate per side on my presses. The pump I got right off the bat was insane. I love High Volume and PF3 seems to really make it shine even more.

I feel like I worked out, however I'm not really that sore lol.

I so want to do squats, since I always have bad doms for like 4 days. I want to see how much PF3 will reduce it. Only prob is for anyone who followed my last log, I still am dealing with a problem with inner ankle area. I probably should go to DR, but I don't want to lol.

It happened when my 300 dumb self thought it would be smart to do jump rope between each set of exercises for a week straight. I had to have strained/or fractured something. It has been over 2 months

I will do my weekend updates as soon as I get chance. Been busy day at work, and weekend was busy due to the loss of my wife's grandpa

Thurs: Off day, went to the wake(I believe that's what it's called) for my wife's grandpa. I try to stay away from death.

Friday: Had the day off work, so I got a quick workout in before the funeral

Shoulders: 1 scoop PF3 Pre/Intra/Post
1 scoop High Volume

Shoulder Press Machine 4x10 80bs warmup

Arnold Press 5x10 45lbs <--- Pump kicked in fast. I think I need to drop High Volume while using PF3. It seems to boost the pump like crazy
SS W/ Front raise 5x10 25lbs

Side Lateral 1x10 30lbs, 1x10 35lbs, 1x8 40lbs, 1x8 45lbs, 1x8 40lbs, 1x10 30lbs, 1x10 20lbs
SS W/ Band Spider Crawls 5 sets to 25 <--- These burn soo bad, I'm so glad I learned about them

DB Swings 1x25 50lbs
1x15 45lbs
1x15 35lbs
1x18 25lbs
1x22 15lbs

Low Pulley shoulder raise 3x10 15lbs

Quick Rotator cuff movements

Sat: Did some yard work and then my wife talked me into painting our master bedroom. We have had the paint for a year now, I guess I put it off long enough.

Up and down the ladder, plus all the brush strokes. I had a nice pump going lol.

Notes: One thing I notice on PF3.. I have had a horrible diet since vacation, between football coming back, apple cider donuts, etc I have ate like crap. However, my veins are more visible at current bodyweight 306, than they were at 295 while on test booster/AI. They show up nicely even on days when I don't use a pre. Thoughts?

Recovery still seems faster on PF3. I had great recovery on Versa-1, and PF3 seems even better in that department.

Haven't tracked macros, haven't used protein powder, haven't ate clean, haven't gained fat, muscles still feel full. Sounds fun right??

I will be finishing out this log tracking macros, I need to get back in the weight loss mode. My fun with food needs to end.

Grape is still best flavor, I need MOAR

Awesome update! I feel the same way about the vascularity and staying more lean despite food issues. I have my diet pretty dialed in, but I'm still attempting to taper down from a bulk mode to a steady recomp and eventually a cut. Taking PF3 is making it hard to drop the calories ;)

Dude you have some serious volume going on there good job.

Large volume just doesn't work for me.....heavy sets, 3-4 movements and I'm trashed.....

I am always in bulk mode lmao. My family has a ton of addictions, mine is food. It's great that I'm not an alcoholic, but it sucks I'm fat lol.

Dude you have some serious volume going on there good job.

Thanks. It's actually a little lower volume than I'm used to. I need to step it up.

Large volume just doesn't work for me.....heavy sets, 3-4 movements and I'm trashed.....

I prefer that way as well heavy, few movements.

It's just since I am always struggling to lose weight, because my eating habits suck, I tend to do lots of movements, with very little rest in between.

I make myself so mad, because I have gone from 320lbs all the way to 180lbs before. It's just the last few years I have set my goal at 240, and can never get below 290. I have some mental block going on.

Have you ever done circuit training before? 30-40 minutes 3 times a week and a cardio day will melt it off you. I think the pf3 could keep you going through that for a month too.

Have you ever done circuit training before? 30-40 minutes 3 times a week and a cardio day will melt it off you. I think the pf3 could keep you going through that for a month too.

I have never followed any circuit training seriously. I was doing some multiple exercises with little to no rest, and jump roping in between. That's how I jacked my ankle up.

I did find a 30 minute military circuit training that looks pretty fun. I may give that a try.

Just noticed I missed Mondays update!

Legs: Again left ankle is really jacked up, I should probably see doctor soon if it doesn't get better

I copied a workout I did early last month. The last time I did this I was so sore, that I had a hard time getting up and down stairs, out of bed, off couch etc for 2.5 days. Yes I know if I worked legs more, I would get used to it lol.

I can already say PF3 seemed to reduce more soreness by 50% easily. Just feels like normal soreness.

PF3 Pre/Intra/Post

I have been off all other supps for over 2 weeks now, and I still seem more vascular. Something in PF3 is working, and honestly I really don't care how or why. Only thing that sucks for me, is with the recent surgeries my wife has had to undergo, PF3 is out of my price point for now.

Leg Press Sled: All these include the starting weight of the sled. For instance 202lbs is 1 plate per side + Sled

1x10 202lbs
1x10 292lbs
1x9 382lbs
1x8 472lbs
1x7 562lbs
1x6 652lbs
1x5 742lbs
1x6 697lbs
1x7 652lbs
1x8 607lbs
1x9 562lbs
1x10 517lbs
1x12 472lbs
1x14 427lbs
1x16 382lbs
1x18 337lbs
1x20 292lbs
1x22 247lbs
1x25 202lbs

So last time I got real light headed doing this pyramid. I did not take any pre this time, so no headrush

- As I stated earlier I am nowhere near as sore this time as I was last time
-Weight has stayed the same over past 2 weeks, even though my diet has been real crap
-Ankle hurt real bad during presses

I am always in bulk mode lmao. My family has a ton of addictions, mine is food. It's great that I'm not an alcoholic, but it sucks I'm fat lol.

LOL, I know this feel too.

I've gone from being about 335 lbs. down to where I am now at 225 since March of 2011. I went from being a food addict to being an OCD food manager, to finally accepting that it is OK to eat but still keep meticulous track of everything. LOL, I joke that I am recovering from an eating disorder, but it's sadly not far from the truth!

Holy volume, Batman!! I can see why stairs were an issue!

Wed:
PF3 Pre/Intra/Post
1 scoop High Volume. I really need to get around to trying gameday, lately I'm enjoying the stim free stuff though

Last few days I have done some workouts that were saved in my phone. I really need to pick a program and stick to it, but I get bored easy.

Reverse Pec Deck 3x100 concentration on nice stretch, pause, slow negative

Notes: The PF3/ High Volume combo had my whole upper body pumped. While doing face pulls, my bi's were pumped like crazy, and I was making sure to leave them relaxed so I wasn't using too much are movement

- Hate to sound like broken record, but recovery is great
- Still no GI issue

Thurs: Chest/Tri/Slight Shoulder

Wish my ankle was healed so I could do some tire flips, or sprint up a hill, the weather looks perfect this weekend

Awesome recovery and PF3 go hand in hand :D

Definitely have to agree on the pumps being awesome. Tried working out without PF3 pre-training, pumps were not as good

glad you've been benefiting from this bro.

I wish I could rely on non stim products for w/o's but I lift in the morning and I need that extra kick like you wouldn't believe

Holy Cubsfan. Are your legs bionic? Nice work right there.

I wish I could rely on non stim products for w/o's but I lift in the morning and I need that extra kick like you wouldn't believe

High Volume is only non stim I have tried that gives me a huge boost in focus. I usually need stims as well, but at my weight I try not to stay stimmed up lol

Holy Cubsfan. Are your legs bionic? Nice work right there.

Lol thanks. I do show off my 21 or 22" calves, I forgot it's been a while since I measured. They have to be my only area that has like 0 fat. Wish the rest of me was that cut.

Unfortunately, the only reason my legs can handle the volume, and grow is because they are used to carrying my 300lbs around all day long.

Updates coming soon. Had a busy weekend. It was our weekend with my daughters. My favorite type of weekend

hope you enjoyed the weekend, looking forward to more updates :)

Can you spare a few inches on your calves for me? Birthday coming up soon.

Fri: Off Day. 3 scoops PF3 spread throughout day
Picked up daughters after work and headed to our friends cabin in Wisconsin. Drove some golf carts around the Lake in the dark. Looked like scene from Friday the 13th lol.

Sat: Got in my Saturday circuit type movement

PF3 Pre/Intra/Post
Pre:2 scoops Alphamine
1 scoop High Volume

I know I explained this more in depth in a previous log, but its part of a workout I follow with a guy I workout with every once in while.

Basically we pyramid a curl bar, and take turns after sever set. However I was working solo, so the 4 exercises were done as giant set.

I'm not going to lie, there were plenty of times I had to stop and pause due to heart pounding and/or outrageous pump lmao

Military Press:
25,45,65,85,75,65,55,45,35,25

Upright Rows:
25,45,65,85,75,65,55,45,35,25

Triceps Extensions:
25,45,65,85,75,65,55,45,35,25

Curl:
25,45,65,85,75,65,55,45,35,25

Notes: 2 scoops Alphamine and all these reps probably could have killed me lol.
- Sweated a ton, I think I should really focus on these giant/circuit type workouts to help burn fat
- Recovery :)
- Nearing end soon. :( :( :( I have a little more left than a few other loggers, since in Vegas I didn't remember 2 scoops each day

We took the kids back up to friends cabin. More golf carting, went to lake, played some apples to apples when it started pouring rain. A great day overall

So, are you doing 4 exercises in a circuit 1 rep each and then on to the next weight for the next circuit?
