A contrarian use of Superdrol.

Brief: I am 32 days into my second ever cycle of SD @10mg/day. 10mg/day, everyday for the last 32 days, no increase in dosage. I have gained 12# on a calorie static diet, meaning I have not added any extra calories to my diet while on. I am 33 , 5'11" 222# at 9-10 bf%. I lift 5x/week. My blood pressure results are 124/69, pulse 58. This is an average and slightly higher than my non SD baseline. Overall, not too bad. No bloodwork results though :( my bad.

Ok, feb/mar 2005 I did my first ever SD cycle and it was amazing. I was trying to get cut, but ended up gaining about 15# on 6 weeks of 20mg/day while on a calorie restricted diet and moderate cardio. I was amazed at the results and I felt like that Lakevillathor or whatever (for those who have been around awhile :) ).

So now, fast forward to Mar/April 2006. I wanted to try the less is more apporach to SD, since I am concerned about the lipid destruction.

I had such great results on 20mg/day for 6 weeks, that I wanted to try LOWERING the dose. If I can gain lean tissue with lower side effects all the better. Well, 32 lil 10 mg SD caps later the results are still very positive. The less is more apporach seems to be working for me. Having gained 12# so far, with 2 weeks left to go, I would consider that a sucess. Also, I believe I have minimized further my side effects versus the 20mg/day I did last time. My blood pressure is fine and so is my overall feeeling. The only side effect I have really noticed so far is a slight decrease in libido and some cramping in my vastus medialis (on both quads).

I have not used any anabolics since feb/mar 2005, so my body was primed as well. :) I only do one 6 week cycle a year.

I just thought I would post my results on a contrarian use of SD sincce most seem to jsut be upping the dose.

So for those who have responded well to SD, but are concerned about the sides, you might want to try lowering the dosage and seeing what happens.

Nice. I wonder what your results do to the common belief SD is only effective for the first 3 weeks.
People speculate things, people start agreeing, the next thing you know people believe it to be fact. It does nopt stop working after 3 weeks. That is silly. The initial rappid weight gain through glycogen uptake starts to level off. But that does not mean it is not working or you are not growing. I for one feel that after that point you potentiate greater retains of LBM because of an increased duration of androgen use as well as the body acclimating to the new LBM. But there is a threshold that needs to be determined in cost to benefit ratio. Real factors are diminished lipids and liver profiles from extended use. Some of us do bloodwork regularly so it is not a guessing game or caution to the wind. I could not see doing 3 weeks myself.

Thanks for that thorough explanation...Answers a few questions/thoughts I had about SD.

Please keep in mind this is just my opinion regarding my own risk benefit ratio. I do have a good baseline of bloodwork. This affords me the knowledge of my own response. If someone does not have bloodwork and has unknown pre-existant conditions any use is not a good idea.

So since you can't see 3 weeks usage of SD 5150, would you just use 2 weeks of SD with other substances? I have a bottle of methoxy-trn and methoxy-tst coming maybe a stack with these? 6 weeks of 10mg SD would be great maybe, pending that bloodwork though.

maybe:

week 1 10mg SD
week 2 20mg SD
week 3 trn+tst (amount pending some logs)
week 4 trn+tst (amount pending logs)
week 5 trn+tst (amount pending logs)
week 6 trn+tst (amount pending logs)
week 7-12 PCT with nolva, AI, etc etc+proper liver protection through the whole thing and preload+blood preasure supps, etc, etc

?

I was never a fan of the mini cycle and have always done 6 weeks. For me it is just personal preference.

In my two uses of SD it was not until very late into the second week that I started seeing results and then BAM! Same with the 10 mg/day. It was not until late into the second week that I started seeing results and in the last week I have gained about 3-4#'s.

My thinking goes that with SD type of anabolics it is better to slowly build up and then back down, but that it just my opinion. I am am 33 and I am feeling more stress in my joints/tendons now and I have to be more careful. If I did the 20mg of SD or more that some people at my weight do, I personally feel I could rupture/tear something. SD works for me that well. Also, probably only doing one 6 week cycle a year keeps the receptors "clean."

Also, on this SD cycle I am not taking in a ton of protein. I am only taking just a lil over 1 gram/lb of bodyweight, but still gaining. I do plan on upping that though as I just got more SAN Infusion from Nutraplent :hammer: (and damn did Sam send it to me fast!). My wife gave birth to my baby girl on Feb 26, so my sleep and food intake has been sub optimal. :) Ack, what would I be like on optimal sleep and food!!!

On a side note. I really wish I did a blood work up. I have no excuses, just did not do one. That would make this thread even more informative, b/c one of the reasons I wanted to try a lower dose was b/c of the lipid concerns.
hmmmmm well I guess I could do one post......hmmmm :)

Thanks for taking the time with this additional info. A very informative and well thought out thread. I know what you're saying about the kids too, as I have 2, including a one year old girl. Wait until your little girl turns ~1 and realizes she can't talk yet. One wonders how something so loud can come out of that little body and mouth. They take great pride in doing this by the way. Also, congrats. I thought I wanted another son until my baby girl came along.
