*_ Lynks8 is Getting Shredded with XTEND PERFORM _*

Day 25

Weight: 187lbs
Bodyfat: ~12.5-13%

Cardio goals hit in 20 minutes flat. On to the gym...

Flat Bench
Bar x 8
135 x 6
225 x 6
275 x 5
295 x 4
315 x 1 + 2
(Well, crap. I am getting used to recovering much faster between sets and I didn't give myself enough time before my 315 set. Normally I'd give myself 90 seconds. I only waited ~25 seconds. After resting a full 90 seconds, I got 2 up, but my confidence was shaken.)

Incline Bench
185 x 5
225 x 5
235 x 5
245 x 5
275 x 1 + 1
(Got 275 up for 1, and then another. My best is 285. Stoked to be this close after losing so much strength earlier this spring.)

Decline Bench
225 x 5
275 x 5
275 x 5
300 x 5
(Felt like upping the weight on my last set. Chickened out and only added 2.5's, but nonetheless, hit 300 with ease.)

Machine Dip
180 x 5
270 x 5
295 x 5
320 x 5
340 x 2
(340 matches my previous best! Only got 2 reps, but I'm happy.)

Flat Bench EZ Bar Skull Crushers
90x 5
100 x 6
110 x 5
120 x 5
(Still keeping very strict form, elbows pinched in hard. Hit an extra rep on my last set.)

Overall, solid workout. I am still very pleased with my recovery between sets. I have to remember to give myself enough time, even if I "feel" ready to go thanks to the Xtend Perform.

Day 26

Weight: 186.5lbs
Bodyfat: ~12.5-13%

Woke up late and didn't have time to get cardio in. :/ Had to head straight to the gym.

High Back Thrusters

Bar x 8
135 x 5
175 x 5
175 x 5
190 x 4
(No progression, felt a little weak.)

High Bar Squat
225 x 5
250 x 5
260 x 5
275 x 4
(Lost a rep on my last set. Uh-oh.)

Deadlift
225 x 5
315 x 5
350 x 5
405 x 3
(Lost 2 reps on my last set, but my deadlift comes and goes, so I'm not too worried about this one.)

Seated DB Shoulder Press
70's x 5
80's x 5
85's x 4
85's x 4
90's x 2
(Legs and back weren't with me today, but shoulders apparently were. Hit an extra rep on 90's.)

Seated Calf Raise Machine
135 x 6
180 x 5
225 x 5
305 x 1 + 15 second negative
250 x 6
(Good ole' calves. They never let me down. Hit a PR! 305 is the highest I've ever gone.)

Standing DB Calf Raise
120's x 12
120's x 13
120's x 15
(Added a few reps.)

I'm losing weight too fast. I didn't eat quite enough the last week and it's showing. Muscle fullness is down, and strength is starting to take a hit. Probably gonna do a big refeed and come up to a ~500kcal deficit for a bit.

Recovery has also been a bit down. I'm more sore than usual and my left wrist and shoulder are hurting a bit. HOWEVER, my cardio is still off-the-charts.

I don't know if I'd even really call this a setback. I've achieved a pretty remarkable bodyfat reduction in less than a month, and mostly maintained or increased strength. I'm glad I've had Xtend Perform during this cut.

Great Feedback.
You continue to succeed even on a severe cut.
You were skeptical on how you would PERFORM on Xtend Perform during the cut, but 1Fast400 won't let you down :)

DAY 30

Weight: 186lbs
Bodyfat: ~12.5%

Well, it's the big one: 30 days on Xtend Perform!

As mentioned, I decided to bump my calories back up a bit to a 500kcal deficit. I kicked it off with a "refeed" "meal" (6 donuts and a big ole' frozen-banana/USPlabs-Vanilla-Ice-Cream protein shake).

My last few workouts have been superb. Highlights include the following:

Strength
-Hit a PR on bench today! 325x2! This is the first time I've ever gone over 315 and it felt great.
-HIt a PR on Lat Pulldowns: 295x2 + a 20 second negative. I never thought I'd be able to get a second rep at this weight. I've only used it for negatives, but something in me said "go for it" and I got the bitch back down to my chest before going for my negative, which is also the longest I've ever held it.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow holds for deadlifts and skwats.

Endurance
-Cardio is almost too easy. I'm consistently hitting my goal on the bike in the same 20 minute time window.
-I played basketball at the gym for the first time in ages. I am not the best shooter, but I hustle hard on D. I just didn't seem to get winded. I was up and down the court faster than anyone else.
-I did the most intense drop-set session I've ever done on the pec deck machine. I started at 205x15 and gave myself only 20 second rest periods. I was able to hit 205 for 15 3 times, then down to 175x15 3 times, then 145x15 3 times, then finished with pushups until I literally had to lay on my stomach for a few seconds to let my arms rest so I could get back up off the floor, ha.

So far, so good! I'm going to be switching my routine up starting next week when I open my second tub. My shoulders and left wrist are starting to bother me a bit from the heavy lifting. I'm gonna run a more bodybuilding-style program for a month to let myself heal. The volume will go up and the rest times will go down. Should be a good test for Perform.

Nice PR buddy! Boom! 300 club;).

Hows the feedback coming in here? Should be getting close to the end of your tub.
For a final review could you summarize the key points you noted during your run on perform?
Biggest attribute?
Biggest thing you noted in the gym?
What varied from your workouts since starting perform?

You are a beast man. 325 @ 186lbs? That is an awesome natural bench. Especially as a non-powerlifter.

Final Review coming tomorrow. Let's just say: I'm a believer.

Thanks bro. Bench is my best lift. I can bench more than I can squat, (but that's a whole different issue).

325 is officially my max. I tried 330 today and failed on the first rep.

Still, I doubt I would have had the confidence to push for strength gains like this on such a big cut without Xtend Perform. Too often I've done my warm up sets and worked up to a heavy weight, but felt gassed and it definitely robs one's confidence. Recruiting that last little bit of strength is so much more mental than actually physical. One of the biggest surprise benefits of Perform has been how quickly I'm catching my breath and the confidence that inspires. You just feel 'ready' for your next lift.

Great jean shorts

Only if they are cut-offs

Actually, you're only partially correct. While it is true that cutoffs exhibit extraordinary anabolic properties, standard jorts have also demonstrated similar properties, albeit to a lesser degree.

Touche. Although the anabolic power that is present in mid-thigh cutoffs is a sight to behold

XTEND PERFORM FINAL REVIEW

While I will probably update this thread with any new developments as I try the second bottle, I feel I can now provide a solid review of the product.

I went into this looking for enhanced Strength, Muscle Preservation, and Recovery.

Strength:
This one is interesting. While I can not say I felt any major, acute effect on strength per-se, there were two undeniable benefits I observed while testing this product.
1. I managed to increase strength while in a cut. Of course, this is not unexpected or surprising. Many people, myself included, have made strength gains while cutting. What really impressed me was that I continued to improve in strength while in the biggest deficit I've ever attempted (-750kcals). Though I eventually bumped it back up to -500kcals by the end, I was very happy with my strength progression.
2. Due to the rapid increase in recovery between sets, I felt stronger and more confident going in to each subsequent set. This is particularly useful for maintaining/increasing strength when doing large amounts of volume. This was a very nice surprise, and something I did not anticipate.

Muscle Preservation:
As of today I am ~185lbs and ~12% body fat. I have achieved that which is typically impossible for natural lifters with years of experience. I put on muscle (albeit a small amount) while losing fat. Some of this must inevitably be attributed to the several months of inactivity prior to beginning this program, but to lose 10+lbs of bloat/fat within a month and increase size/strength is no small feat. Xtend Perform undoubtedly assisted me in this endeavor.

Recovery
There are 2 types of recovery I will address here: overall recovery, and intra-workout recovery:
1. Overall Recovery: Despite being in a pretty serious cut, my overall, day-to-day recovery was good. I was more sore than usual, but then again, I was cutting harder than usual. I would say that Xtend Perform compares favorably to most amino products, and certainly far better than any BCAA-specific product.
2. Intra Workout Recovery: This is where this product absolutely shines. I have never taken anything that has helped me catch my breath and recover my strength better in-between sets or during cardio. I am willing to state, unequivocally, that I am in the best cardiovascular shape of my life, and Xtend Perform is a direct contributor to that. I have more gas in the tank and I have PeakO2 to thank.

It's rare that a new supplement comes along that does what it claims, or much of anything. Xtend Perform is one of those few. My endurance and ability to perform at high levels cardiovascularly and athletically is at an all time high. I am very happy I had it during this cut and I would recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their performance, whether it be in the gym or in a sport.

Oh, and the taste is fantastic. Way to go, Scivation. You've got a winner on your hands here.

Totally appreciate the honesty
Myself and 1Fast400 truly appreciate the gratitude and detail put into this log man. Thank you so much!
Glad you found a staple in your supp stack.
