Have you tried over under grip? Just do half your reps rotate your grip and finish your set. It'll get you by till you get wraps

I think Ill give that a try next time or might just do it normally with a hook grip I shall see which feels better I guess

The gym was closed that I go to on these two days so I had to suck it up and not go which delayed a chest workout till Day 19.

Day 19

This is where things really started to dip south. I have been fighting with lethargy for probably a week at this point at it just got too bad to handle.. I walked into the gym to do a chest workout did a few sets...did ONE working set os 245 x 6 (which actually happens to be a PR lol) and I just couldn't stay. I left and decided I had to do something about this lethargy. Bought some DHEA and took 50 mg before sleep.

Day 20 (Today) 75 mg, will weigh in tomorrow

I have decided to take 100 mg DHEA along with my H drol doses so 50 mg twice per day to combat the lethargy. I actually felt a little better today and had more of an appetite. I am not sure if this is the DHEA working already but I am not complaining. Had a solid workout a few hours ago.

All I know is that this was my best back workout yet as you can see by all my PRs LOL. I am glad I took the DHEA and will probably run it with the cycle from the beginning if I ever use a dry compound again. DHEA and caffeine will hopefully keep the lethargy away from this cycle. Happy with this back workout felt huge pumps great muscle mind connection.

Lol...kind of ironic you are using DHEA to combat lethargy yet you took it right before sleep!!!

lol I figured it helped with lethargy since it increases some of the hormones that are low because of the cycle.. I only took it then cause I was feeling like **** at that time so figured id start it when I bought it haha. I now take it with both of my h drol doses which are earlier in the day. It seems to be working I feel much better today :)

I was just givin ya sh!t lol yeah I feel ya, lethargy hits you hard once in a while. How are you sleeping on cycle? Waking up at all? Night sweats? I ran Need 2 Sleep during just about every cycle cuz it was so hard to sleep for me. My first ever cycle, with hdrol, I got crap for sleep. Also didn't help I was taking my last dose before bed.

my sleeping cycle is so ****ed up on or off the cycle lol. I am on east coast and I usually dont fall asleep till 5 AM but that was how I was before the cycle began... I wake up really late too.. I have taken melatonin to sleep for the past few years my sleep just always sucks lol but I haven't woken up with any sweating yet I hate when that happens

Thanks man I had no idea I would be able to increase this much I am shocked as hell lol. And my weight is still steady at ~ 210 (+7). I lowered my caloric intake last week I have decided to try for more of a recomp effect so I am not expecting to gain much more weight. Maybe I will end up at 203, which would end up being +10 from when I started that would be great. For right now though I am just using my workouts and the mirror as a judge of my progress and I am very pleased with both. Already trying to figure out what to run as my second cycle I didn't realize PH use was so fun LOL.
 
Oh man. That's the joy right there. Week 3 on hdrol the sides were pretty negligible but damn my strength shoot through the damn roof!!

I miss that.lol

Good work man. On hdrol I just are whatever I could lol. Kept protein up and overall cals up. Unless your getting really fat I'd say your doing really well thus far :).

Thanks man :) I actually looked in the mirror last night and saw more ab "lines"..stronger and a little leaner? Who could ask for more haha.. does this strength stay during pct and after? That would suck to lose it all. Obv assuming my diet is good enough after the cycle ends

You can keep all your gains with proper training / diet / and pct. As long as you lift hard, have a strong pct lined up, and eat right you should keep 90-100% of your gains.

Certain PH are really good at keeping you lean while increasing mass. Hdrol is definitely one of them.

Im sure if your training and diet is on track you are gaining lean mass and maintaining or possibly LOSING fat.

If it was up to me I'd be lean bulking on the good stuff year round. Until I get to 220+lbs at like 8-10% bf I'm don't really wanna stop haha!

LOL I believe you! To be honest I have never really "cut" before I started off skinny as hell and I am still not up to the size I want to be.. IDK when I'll try an actual cut maybe next year lol
 
Yep keep training/eating like you're on cycle. But maybe take a slight load off the training part...I've found that keeping the same volume as on cycle led to CNS exhaustion...just couldn't keep up in PCT.
 
That is interesting I actually have kept my training split/volume the same as it was pre-cycle. The only difference is that my weight lifted is going up a lot faster.. do you think in a future cycle I should increase the volume and train each muscle group more times per week?

Well the thing is, in PCT you're more prone to over training than normal.

In a future cycle it wouldn't hurt to increase the volume and training frequency, but then again you have to make sure you listen to what your body is telling you too.
Maybe even since u have 2 weeks left on this cycle, bump the intensity up a little and see if you can handle it.
 
Yeah that makes sense just because you are so used to the huge jumps on the cycle you think you can handle the same right when you get off..The most I have maxed on bench a few months back was 255 and I got 285 a few days ago after a few heavy sets... I am happy as a flea already I'd be straight with maintaining what I have now off cycle lol. After this cycle is over I'd be down for suggestions for what to run next

We'll the thing is in PCT you will probably be a bit shutdown. So your PCT is to get your body up and running ASAP to keep your gains and to start making natural gains again. You most certainly will not keep gaining strength and up the weight like you were on cycle, you might even lose a little bit of it. But with a proper PCT I kept 95% of my weight / strength and you can too! Just listen to your body on the weights, keep lifting, eating, and sleeping and you will be fine.
