6 Week Fat Loss Challenge

Couldnt find it. I watched him take 4 steps then lay down, but spent 2 hours looking. Doe ran right by him and he didnt move. But it was ridiculously thick with briars and brush so I dont know if I just couldnt see him or if I missed him and he just layed down to hide.

That sucks. Headed back today for another look?

On a 24 hour shift today. The land owner is going to look and if he doesnt find it Ill give it another look Thursday afternoon. Not sure of points wise, but the antlers were bleach white and seemed to be as big as a mans wrist at the base.
 
Feeling feathery light and dry today. Mirror results are really great. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I've been generally consistent with my 1000 kcal deficit for almost 7 weeks now (with 2-3 days of maintenance due to "cheats" on this training cycle). Friday can't come any faster. Honestly, I can't sustain this deficit with all the stresses of my life right now (needing to find a place to live, etc). By the time I finish reverse dieting I will probably not have a gym to go to (or a real one anyway) so I've been doing quite a bit of reading with super high frequency bodyweight bodybuilding (similar to gymnasts) and it looks like fun stuff. It'll be crazy for me to abandon the barbell training I've become comfortable with for over 3.5ish years, but eh, maybe it's a good way to have a contrast period of time to really let me break plataeus. My body comp to strength ratio at this body weight is the best it has ever been, and yes, I said these words during my Invictus log a few months back, but this just shows what proper dieting/training can do for you. It leads to breaking plateaus you never thought you could break, but it's pretty energy consuming for me (as I am usually not interested in counting calories).
Impressed with your dedication, man. Finish line is in sight!

FWIW - I only use a set of adjustable dumbbells and bands on the door. You could look into that if you wanted some resistance training without a gym and without dropping thousands of dollars.

I do have a work gym available, but it only has dumbbells that go up to 55 lbs. I might as well use this period to do an extreme contrast month of things that I normally never do, while working on pre-hab/rehab (rotator cuff work). Bodyweight training + rotator cuff prehab seems like my best option.

So sometimes its just not meant to be. Started mixing my new Modern BCAAs, had to run a bad wreck and was on scene for 1.5 hours. Came back, mixed my Modern Pre, 2 year old choking and turning blue, came back and drank previously said pre and got to the gym, got 3 sets of curls done- brush fire, pulled back into the gym parking lot, another med call. Gym closed for the rest of Thanksgiving break. SON OF A B1TCH!!!!!!!!!!!! Just not happening today. And Im not happy about it
 
Day 17 - feelin good at 252.4 lbs
I'm actually beginning to see slight changes in the mirror. Could be imagining it but I seriously don't care! Lol!

Did arms today -
Precherz, bb curlz, rope curlz
Oh tri ext, close grip push ups, rope push downs

About 7-10 sets each; 10-15 reps each set

Did about 15 minutes extra cardio today.

Menu repeat from yesterday - protein shakes, coconut oil, grilled chicken, broccoli/cauliflower/purple cabbage spicey mix.

And tomorrow is another day centered around food.

Just have to wait to start mine until I can talk to a doc about possible TRT.

For reals tho. I plan on running it again. If it pairs well with whatever I pick up black Friday, I'll likely be picking up a couple bottles again. I truly miss how I felt on Epidrone. I think the Epicat in there was as much a factor as the Epi-andro itself. And now? I found Cordygen. What a wicked combo that would be.

Shoulders / Back today, and feeling some shoulder pain in both emanating from deep, thinking tendons are angry at me for *leefting so much vate - Arnold's voice. Not going to check my weight for another week past Thanksgiving. It just wouldn't be right to cry openly a day after Thanksgiving.

Going to drink 2 gallons of water before dinner.
It might hold me two a pound of Turkey. Doubtful. I love turkey, and stuffing, and those crescent rolls with buttah, and cranberries, not those real fresh kind but rather that gelatin can stuffed kind you can cut with a knife, and sweet potatoes with more stuffing on the side, and gravy. Lots of gravy to dip those crescent roll things in.

Youre a d@mn funny man! I am doing the same with the water today, along with a big Modern protein shake before I eat. I am seriously going to attempt to eat a good amount of turkey, some green vegetables, and 1 and only 1 slice of pumpkin pie. Lets see how that goes for me. Itll be a true test

Happy thanksgiving guys! I'm taking a break from strict dieting today. It won't be an all out cheat or anything like that, but I just need a mental break to really relax. Hope your days go well!

I woke up this morning and got working and forgot to weigh myself until I had about 12 oz. Of coffee and 16 oz of water. I weighed in at 169.

I have two families to celebrate with today. So....I'm just letting loose. I even had two donuts this morning. Haven't had a donut in forever.

Turkey, crescent rolls, cranberry sauce, homemade chicken pie, pecan pie, apple pie, you name it....here I come. Twice.

And then, back at it.
 
Is there something baked into female DNA that makes them run around on thanksgiving, acting like every little job is monumental, and not allowing anyone else to do anything?

Me: why you running around like that?
Her: so much to do?
Me: like what? Just about everything is done.
Her: I have to make the mashed potatoes!
Me: ok, I will peel them while you do whatever.
Her: No, I will do it.
Me: OK.

Ten minutes later, all over again. Finally I just take ten minutes and peel the dang potatoes. While I do this, she does her hair??? So much to do that if I peel the potatoes, you are done?

Honestly not frustrated because she isn't normally like this and I find it hilarious. It happens every thanksgiving, regardless of whose house we are at...whichever woman is in charge runs around claiming to have so much to do, refusing help and getting nothing done.

Blah blah blah - whom I kidding - just turkey and greens. No stuffing. No gravy. No pie. No cranberry. Nada. Zilch.

Excuse the derail, but I just kicked my own @$$ in the gym. The gym was OVERFLOWING with people working off pre eating guilt, so when I got my stuff I stuck with it.
Hammer shoulder press - 5 heavier x15.
10 lighter x15

Hammer chest press - 10x15

It was enough but I did a bunch of dips, pecDec, and reverse pecDec.

Now I get to watch other people eat :)

Nope. But here we have a sh1tload of catholic holidays, because they have a sh1tload of saints to worship.
 
Nope, but carry candles and wooden figurines and firework and singing and shooting guns in the air, killing bystanders and other lovely things.

That isn't nearly as good as thanksgiving! Only way you die on thanksgiving is a heart attack or diabetic coma. People don't normally get shot while eating their turkey...but some families don't get along so well I guess.
 
Monday, weighed in at 216 (up 11 lbs after 4 days in Chicago)
Today, weighted in 215 (a day after Thanksgiving and stuffing myself)

It's going to be a crazy weekend, and I'm looking forward to Cyber Monday.
 
Just finished working out. What a crazy town - the gym was almost empty today! I guess people were still sleeping off the turkey....
I had no turkey - the geniuses we joined made a fruit jelly based gravy - I aint wasting my daily carb allowance on that!
I had some grilled steak...maybe a little too much, but hey!

Did squatz, sumo/conventional/straight leg dedz, bent rows, shrugs, fatty pull ups, and repped out on preacherz.

Next year - pie and ice cream!
 
Have my nexr cycle and pct already stashed so i just got some cycle support stuff. Thinking of getting some thermogenics but still haven't enough info or ideas...
 
Ok, Thanksgiving is over and its time to get me back on track, although I have to say I kept it pretty tight over the Holiday. I did however have 2 slices of pumpkin pie on Thursday. But I got some great news. I was lucky enough to be selected to run a log for Vitalize Supplements new Thermogenesis, and I am ridiculously stoked about starting that!!! Today I had 1,030 calories and only 11 carbs-gotta love deer meat!! Got 35 minutes on an elliptical here at work because the gym is still closed, and plan on doing the same tomorrow morning if not 45 minutes. Ill re check my weight come Monday .
