6 Week Fat Loss Challenge

Well, it WAS a chocolate cake with chocolate icing. Now, if it was a yellow cake with chocolate icing? No way, I would have devoured it

Ok, glad to hear. Standards are good. :)

Thank you Sir! Im going to give it a try. I think I had my mind made up last night. Had a birthday get together for my wife with her family. They had subway, cake and ice cream

I had 1.58lbs of chicken cooked in coconut oil, 4 cups of greensbeans, 2tbs of Jif, and whey Isolate with almond milk. No cake. No ice cream.

Great workout Holmez! You are an Elon Oak!

Glad to hear you like meso. I've wanted to try it for a while, but money is tight her too.

A little behind in this thread. (Yes, my @ss is small) but that is besides the point... "Fat Burner" I heard a tale of this one fat burner that was very Hi Tech, and it was called something Syn-full... maybe it was a myth. :D

Time will tell.

Way to go and get it FireTitan and my gawd impressive feed.

Day 9. Checking in still at 252 - but feeling good so no panic. Heading out to do cardio. Looking forward to today's workout later; back and traps. Food will be 6-7 protein shakes, 2-3tbsp coconut oil, grilled beef, string beans and purple cabbage salad - just to get a little funky....;)
Keep on crushing it all y'all!

No stimz pre wo while on andros, so I thought my work would suffer. But once I figured out hiw to deal with the lethargy, I seem to be doing ok. Considering. Either way. Fa shaw.

Quick but solid back session-

Hammer Shrugs. Up to 10 plates for 15
Drop to 6 plates for 25

Hammer Rows. Up to 10 plates for 15
Drop to 6 plates for 20

BB Bent Rows. Up to 285 for 20
Then dropped twice for 20 each

5 sets of fatty pull ups

And I was done.

Oh, and for some reason I went down a belt hole today - comfortably!

Cheers

You are doing 20 reps on bent rows with 285 pounds!!!???

If so, I'm done lifting lol. Thats crazy strong.

If so, we don't need to lift. Tank is doing enough for all 3 of us!

I couldn't do 20 squats with that.

You guys are HILARIOUS! Back and traps are what I got left from my powerlifting years. Can't bentch diddley anymore and dedz and skwatz have gone waaaay down. But thanks for the ego boost guys!

Who's joking here? Dude, if your squats and deads went down, and you are doing bent over with 285....mind if I ask what those numbers are?

No real updates today. Sick as H3ll with a cold but my dumbass still went hunting after work and now at EMS instead of sleeping. Didnt check the weight today, just dont care. Ill start checking once a week or so, but Im in this for the long haul so minute changes and fluctuations are not going to affect my progress or mood. Still a bit sore from yesterdays squats. smith_69 gave me some tips on trap training so I can get some growth in them things. Thank you to him. Depending on how this cold does overnight, and my shift, I will be hitting the gym hard in the morning!!

Day 10 - 251.1lbs
Dropped about a lb since yesterday. I used to weigh in once a week which was MUCH easier on my nerves......but I guess these daily weigh ins will keep me stricter on my diet.....
Heading out to do cardio. Later I get to do biceptualz and some more pull ups just for fun - gotta keep on doing them till I get it right.
Food today besides protein and coconut oil shakes - grilled beef (haven't yet decided what kind) and spicey broccoli/cauliflower mix.
Here's hoping everyone is doing well -@FireTitan take care of yourself!
Cheers

Mucinex,Vitamin C, and Water..

Weighing in at 201.6 this morning, not completely dry. I normally don't weigh myself until later on in the week, but I'm liking where my weight is trending towards.

Finally hit a new low today: 167.3 pounds.

Last low was 168.3 before my break. Today is a high calorie day, and I almost don't want to do it because of the new low, haha...but while this process has been slower, it seems to be working and if I need to kick it up I have plenty I can do still

Slow and steady wins the race! As someone who goes 110% or 0% with no in between, I get the struggle. My body over the years has forced me to accept this truth. I'm so much more successful when taking fat loss slow and deliberate.

Either way, congrats brother!

I totally agree.. When trying to truly lose fat/weight and keep it off the slower process will always prevail for maintaining it over a period of time. I'm not saying that you cant ramp things up here and there( which i do as well and am currently doing) but for the most part making it a lifestyle change as opposed to just a diet is where in opinion you will truly succeed. At least that's my opinion, experience. Its seemed to have worked for me went from being 320lbs over 10yrs ago to keeping it off ....212 this morning.

FANTASTIC! Must be a great feeling! Keep on crushing it - very inspiring.

Yup, that's me too - all or nothing. My habits have changed considerably over the years though, so nothing is actually much more than it used to be when it comes to dieting. Right now, I have (2) high-calorie days a week where I'm eating 2500 cals and just because of that I feel like I'm not dieting at all actually; even though 2-3 days a week are at 800 cals.

The other thing is, I'm psyched at a new low, but it's just a marker. I will gain and lose. It isn't like once I get to 167 I will never be 170 again. I'm probably 169 right now just from the coffee I've had this morning. But yeah, it feels good to hit a new number.

Everyone in here is an inspiration. Tons of dedication and hard work. Honestly, when people go to the supplement section and say, "what is the best fat burner?" - I think of this thread now. Hard work gets results.

Whaaaaaaaaat? Thats amazeballz my friend. Really proud of you and your drive!! Dont slow up though. The slower it comes off, the more likely it is to stay off!!

No workout for me today fellas. My 12 hour shift @EMS ended up being 15.5 hours. Just not in me. But, food will still be spot on for the day as it was yesterday. Will weigh in when I get home Friday. Taking my son hunting this afternoon after a bit of a nap!

Done brother!!! Thanks

I forgot to mention - I am a HUGE fan if Vitamin C. I take 5-6 grams per day and I really don't get sick ever. Last winter there was something nasty going around and my parents, my gf, her kids, everyone got it and had it for at least 2 weeks. Most people literally were in bed for 4-7 days. I was the last one to get it and when I started feeling it come in I started taking 60-70 grams of vitamin C. I always thought that much Vitamin C was just crazy talk. I didn't even miss a day of work, and was over it in 2-3 days ....so...it isn't just craziness. Mega dose the C.

Better to not work out and rest, IMO, than to have a crappy workout where you accomplish nothing just because you weren't ready for it.

I agree with the rest and not a crappy workout. Crappy workouts will kill your mojo for an entire week!
I RARELY get sick, knock on wood. This is the first time ive felt like this in I cant tell you how long. I like Vitamin c as well, but I think my lack of sickness is due to my job. Im constantly dealing with sick people and always exposed to whatever is floating around. Almost like Im partially immune. Lol
