How about:

Get adequate rest/sleep
Eat below maintainence caloric needs
Avoid high carbs and fat in the same meal
Avoid alcohol
Eat protein with every meal
Keep stress levels in check
Use yohimbine before fasted cardio
Apply topicals such as Supernova to belly 1-2x/day

All jokes aside, Ray is correct.

I did drink heavily from time to time and still dropped over a 100lbs in a year. Could I have reached my goals faster without alcohol, yeah probably, but I had some great times and was always on track. I did low carb / calories and cardio 7 days a week. I went extreme and definitely lost muscle/ probably never really had any in the first place. Went from 325 to 169, looked like a heroin addict. I was loosing weight and got into the scared I was going to get fat mode. **** sorry about the rant.... anyhow, cardio and reduce calories. If you can, cut the carbs lower. I would also suggest to lift heavy, as I did not and you will probably look much better in the end.
