Hi Guys,
Ok, I've never used anabolics of any sort or even pro-hormones before. I have however been strength training for a decade and my best years are behind me, getting stronger is now slow and I hit sticking points often.
Ok my goal is to achieve a triple bodywieght front squat with all other lifts comparable. I train once a week and please before you all start criticising me for this I actually got up to a triple bodyweight deadlift back in 2006 using this method. I have also in recent years squatted twice my bodyweight using this protocol too.
Anyway i'm not here to discuss my training methods even if you disagree with them, but i've had a thought. I can currently front squat 1.5 times bodyweight, if I took 5/10mg Test from a gel pre-workout maybe I could add 1kg (2.2ibs) to my squat every week for a year and a half straight. This would get me more or less to a triple bodyweight squat (yes i'm light).
So my question is would this small amount Of test give me the small boost I need to add this weight (1kg) to the bar consistently maybe even for 2 years? If so, would this amount of test cause shutdown, any other side effects etc? Could I take this amount of test indefinitely without any serious issues?
Before any of you suggest supplements to achieve the above, I have tried creatine and pre-workout boosters but they don’t seem to work for long.
I read on a bicycling forum that some cyclists use this amount of test to get a small boost so why not a weightlifter like me so is happy with slow gains as long as they are consistent.
Also if the above is viable when do I apply the gel? I read the best time is in the morning when your test is at the highest and this also allows your hormones to reset at night preventing shutdown. How long before the workout should I apply the gel?
Additionally if the above is not viable how about a single (150mg) dosage of trenazone before a workout, i’m sure this would give me a boost but how many weeks/months could I do this for, especially if I took a few dosages of a cycle support product to minimise side effects?
I have posted this before on a UK site but the guys on there just decided to pan my training instead, not very productive for me.
