5 must have supplements for everyday.

My staples are fish oil, green tea extract, HMB, creatine, and protein (both whey and casein)...

If I'm cutting I'll add in yohimbine and cayenne pills daily.

1) Whey protein (Cytosport 100% Whey)
2) Multi vitamin (Kirkland brand 500ct)
3) Fish oil (Kirkland brand 500ct)
4) Joint Support (MSM, glucosamine)
5) Trenbolone (jk I meant Creatine)

These can be taken year round, no cycling needed and are good for general health as well as for being in either an anabolic or catabolic state.

1) Fish oil
2) BCAA
3) Turmeric
4) Phosphatidic Acid
5) Creatine

My list would honestly go up to 10 but I think those work the best.

Well, there are staples and bb supplements:

Staples:
CoQ10
Fish OIl
Multi-Vitamin
Gamma E
Curcumin (Life Extension)

Bodybuilding:
Off The Chain - 2 Scoops
1-Andro (LG and AMS) - 600mg Per Day
Trenavol (6Keto-P) - 200mg Per Day
Epicatechin + MyoX - 500mg Epicatechin + 1-2 Scoops MyoX
X-Factor - 6 Before a Workout (just added that in)
Cinnamon + Bitter Melon + Glucozene-R - pre carb meals

PreCardio
Green Tea 50% Catechins
Cayenne Pepper (Cool Cayenne)
FucoXanthin Gels - 2 per day
Various Fat Burners - SPEED (have an original laying around) being my current one

^^^ I forgot to add a good multi... just started Orange Triad, which is pretty awesome

Orange triad has always been my go to at half dose! 90 days worth for a relatively small price!
Yeah I agree for staples, I'm not on the creatine train though

I can't say mine are for workout per se. I'm older now and overall health is my top concern. Lets throw out protein as that's either something you're going to buy in supplement form or not. As a consumer, I'd go with whatever WPC you can find that is on sale and you like the taste of if you're not dairy sensitive.

My daily is: Flexatril (I've broken a lot of stuff), Coq10, occasional D3 depending on my outside activity, Peak02 and Capros. That's my current, which varies throughout the year. I mix the peak02/capros into Xtend. I leave capros out if I take quake.

Honestly, I just got back on creatine... idk what I think about it in all honesty other than it's the most studied and proven supplement out their for gains...

Having said that, I don't notice a difference on or off it

Some are non responders for sure. I was a big responder in college, might as well have been a miracle drug for me with sprinting.

Have you tried front loading with large carb meals? Whenever I get back on creatine I usually time it with a carb refeed....and by that I mean 15g of creatine with each of 3 carb refeed meals in a row. Then maintain at 5g a day usually with my heaviest carb meals.

I actually just started taking creatine 3 wks ago, and followed the above loading protocol... then my daughter was born a week ago and I stopped taking it for a few days. Now I'm back on so we'll see how it goes

I know there are a lot of negative feelings about HMB, but I actually feel that it helps me retain muscle mass when cutting. I just got done using Double Woods HMB, and it was a very good product.
Benefits:
•IMPROVE POWER OUTPUT - Improves performance while strength training.
•REDUCE MUSCLE LOSS - Reduces lost muscle mass when eating at a caloric deficit.
•INCREASES PROTEIN SYNTHESIS - HMB increases protein synthesis, aiding in the growth of new muscle tissue

Bulk Supplements HMB: $48 for around a 1 yr supply.

I also take bulk supp Betaine Anhydrous as a staple... $17 for a 1yr supply

Fish oil, multi vitamin, creatine, and some kind of protein supplement

1. Creatine for its many health benefits, most importantly in my opinion are the cognitive benefits.

2. Curcumin/Turmeric for its anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer effects.

3. Ashwagandha for mood/anxiety benefits, hormone regulation, and sexual health.

4. Fish Oil with high EPA/DHA content.

5. I'm tied between fermented Foods and Powdered greens.I eat a lot of vegetables/fruits but I still feel that there are amazing health benefits of adequate vegetable intake. Fermented Foods and their effect on the gut is also extremely valuable health wise though.

I'm pretty sure HMB can be annoying to mix (similar to luecine), but it's definitely manageable.

I'll post a pic when I take my evening dose. It's really not bad at all. The BA is better than the HMB, which is slightly cloudy

Not nearly as bad as creatine

I have bulk HMB powder, I think from the same place as you. I haven't used it in a little while though. It really isn't that bad, especially for the price.

Edit: I'm used to mixing it with a spoon/fork in a glass, where it can be a bit annoying, but I just mixed ~3g in an actual blender bottle, and I can't even tell there's anything in the water by looking at it (as a side note, the Xtend Perform Pro Series shaker bottle with 12-gauge ball is amazing at mixing stuff, haha).

You take 3g at a time? I take 1g x3 a day

Trying to avoid duplicates but for overall health look into:
Vitamin D3
Probiotics
Ubiquinol
NAC
For general health, if I had to pick 5:
Vitamin D3
Kyolic Garlic
Spirulina
Ashwagandha
NAC
(just picked up Gut Health, seems like it could make its way into the above list)

For muscle/strength/gym stuff:
Creatine
Betaine
Citrulline or Nitrates
HMB (especially when training hard)

Congrats on the daughter!

If I were to list what I feel like are the most important:

Protein
Multi (+Greens)
Fish Oil
Creatine
Caffeine

If I were to look at my current situation and the 5 things I use the most, it would be

Probiotic (Primitive Defense powder)
Pre-workout
Creatine (Finish Line mostly)
Joint Support (Joint Help or Flexibile)
Protein Bars (for sanity snacks)

If we're going with 5 products/supplements, as opposed to 5 single ingredients:

-Pre-Workout (probably stim-free, as I could always add coffee, which I don't really consider a supplement)
-Daily "Staple" Supplement with creatine and betaine (usually PowerMax XT)
-Nootropic Supplement (NootropiMax most of the time now)
-General Health Stuff (Kyolic and KSM-66 would probably round out this top 5, but spirulina and NAC are also nice)

vitamin D
magnesium
zinc
creatine
Toss-up between protein powder or curcumin formula such as BCM-95

the only concern I have with creatine is that I have MPB and I believe I have started to notice thinning hair unfortunately, whether or not this is creatine's fault due to its effect on DHT I am not sure, but otherwise it is such a good supplement.

For those who like magnesium and zinc (I do), I have been using zinc picolinate which is supposedly the best absorbed form, and more interestingly, just started using magnesium oil (basically topically absorbed magnesium that supposedly is more effective than oral - according to the people selling it). The topical magnesium is often used for joint issues though and it seems to be helping my shoulder tightness.

Also, for those of you taking curcumin, what have you noticed and why do you take it? I tried taking it awhile back but would get these weird shooting joint pain sensations so I stopped it.

I've taken various curcumin formulations - piperine, Meriva, BCM-95. Currently taking Meriva from Thorne, not sure I'm noticing anything. I thought I noticed something weeks ago but I think it was placebo. I'm sure it is good for those with excessive inflammation as the studies do show this, but for most of us with healthy lifestyles that is probably unnecessary.

I also read that it could interfere with testosterone as it is a competitive inhibitor (in vitro I think) of an enzyme involved in test synthesis. Examine has more details.

right there are some worrisome studies in rats but until this is proven in humans with physiological doses I don't think curcumin will affect hormones significantly.
