I'm considering swapping out some of my typical 5x10ish assistance work with some rest-pause sets, maybe some widowmakers for squat assistance.
Anyone tried it?

After either the 5+, 3+, 1+ weeks id drop back down to the first set weight and do a rest pause set for bench/OP and a widowmaker set for squats. I never did them with deads, imo it's too easy for your form to go to **** and blow out a disc.
Then id do the usual assistance work.
So, basically what im saying is, just add one in after the main work then do the usual assistance.
Ive done rest pause on bench with close grip....that **** suuuuuucks.....i used the FSL got about 10, 6, 4, 2, 1......on my sets with about 15-20 secs between sets.....it rrally makes u dig deep to get the work in
