35 min workouts

Is 35 mins enough time to get **** done

As of now I'm at gym at 525 leave at 6 this is in the morning

Monday's workout was

Incline chest flys super setted with flat bench
Incline flys 15s-20 20-15 30-12-10 40s-8-6
Bench didn't set the world on fire 135 up to 175 reps from 12 down to 8 or so

Incline bench press 55s 3 sets of 10 supersetted with machine shoulder press 90lbs 12 10 135 3x8

Into front raises and seat rear raise 25s sets of 8-12

Is this enough in half hour time its time to start a cut soon.looking for advice here

I'm guessing there isn't many in the gym at that time and with super setting chest & delts, 35 minutes is quiet sufficient. Very similar to the way I train, excellent for the pump?

I do a lot of 35-45 min sessions. Super set like crazy and you're all good! :)

I get **** from everyone in the gym for how soon I leave but I normally do 3 times the work they do

This is exactly why I bought one of Jason Huh's shirts that says "Shut the hell up and train."
People do way too much talking (and texting/phone usage) in the gym and not enough exercise. In high school I used to be at the gym for like 3 hours after school. I busted my ass but also spent too much time yakking with my buddies. My workouts now are typically an hour to an hour and a half and I get even better results now than I did back then.
It looks like you get a sufficient amount of work in in those 35 minutes. If it works for you, f*ck what what everybody else thinks.

35 mins? For all you guys saying that you can grind it out in such a short time, WOW. And how do you warm up??? Your joints must be getting a beating if you are just going in cold. Idk. Not hating just genuinely amazed.

I can do about about 12 different workouts in 35-45 mins. Sometimes, I finish in 30 mins and wonder what the heck else I should do.

If you are cutting that is plenty of time to workout! Assuming you are doing super short rest periods and circuit-style training/super sets. Just make sure to take a good 10 minutes to warm up pre workout.

I've heard the saying: you can workout hard or you can workout long, but you can't do both. That said I think 35-45 minutes is enough. I see a lot of guys that are there for way too long just because they are spending the majority of their time talking

We've got couple guys in there that take 5 min breaks between sets
I did more sets this morning then I ever had was wore out could hardly do my last couple set back pump from he'll and was done before one guy was done benching

I asked him why he's wasting so much time said I like to wait so I don't get so sore. Wtf. I wanna burn nd know I did something

I get more done in 35-45 min than most people in the gym do in 60-90. Have a plan and move through it, don't bull**** with people, stop taking 5 min breaks between sets, utilize more compound movements and it's a piece of cake.

Yeah, it's pretty much a huge myth you need to be spending hours in the gym everyday. Even with my workouts I often aim for 450-700 total reps for the body group I'm working, add in 15 minutes of cardio or boxing and I'm gone.

Even then, adding in steam room, sauna, shower and my gym visits are less than 1.5 hours.

My only advice is still be very careful to not rush through your sets as you'll end up injuring yourself, aka what I did two years ago now and have 2-3mm separations on every disc on my back.

We have a three man group and we train using our schools weight room. Roughly 30-35 minutes, we fly through cores and clear bars as quick as possible, then split up on auxiliaries and get them done quickly on our own. Sometimes, we fall short on time and sometimes we actually finish earlier. The only times we're truly rushed are 5×5 and 5/4/3/2/1. 10/8/6, 4/4/2, and 3×3 go quickly because of less sets. While 10/8/6 is one rep off from 5×5 and nine more than 5/4/3/2/1 we get more done because theres less time spent changing whats on the bar for each member of our group. 35 minutes solo should be plenty of time if you stay focused
