I've been purchasing animal products for a number of years now, mainly animal pak, stak and cuts.

The sell by date has always been digitally printed on the bottom of the canister in a dotted format.

Recently I've noticed that the sell by date has now been stamped on the bottom which you can rub off. I purchased an animal pak like this and the pills looked off colour and made me feel off when I tried one of the packs. Had a similar issue with animal stak.

Are there any animal reps that can shed some light on this? Are the products with stamped sell by date genuine or is there something potentially dodgy going on?
sorry man, no animal reps here--they aren't a sponsor of this forum. you might try the universal nutrition site and contact them there?

good luck!!!

Agreed with this suggestion. I think bodybuilding .com has some animal reps on their forum as well that could help you out. (Or at least they did in the past. I haven’t been on the forum in years)

Animal is a good company, I"m sure you can get some answers

The stuff isn’t bad just because it might be beyond an expiration of that is the worry. Now improper storage is a completely different thing which can cause anything to ruin. Expiration dates are pretty much complete bunk on non organic supplements.

Agree

There are no more Animal or Universal reps over at bb.com but just call or email them
and they will address any concerns you might have about the supplements you have on
hand I'm sure they will ask for any lot # listed to verify that it's an authentic Universal product.

Hit them up on social media. They usually answer right away.
