This Saints-Falcons game tonight has big implications for Carolina. I'm partially hoping for a Falcons win just for the NFC South chaos.

I feel terrible for Shazier. It unfortunately ended up being one of those cases where it happened to be as bad as it initially looked.

crazy when put into perspective that Goodell still wants more after a 5yr 200m extension.

OSU has been putting some stud secondary players out lately. I felt very bad for Hooker, who was having a great rookie season when he went down. I feel so much worse for Shazier because it was such a severe injury. I still don't think they have reported use of his legs. It's possible he could never walk again, although that would be a huge leap with the little information we have right now.

Seattle REALLY handled that loss poorly there at the end. Two ejections and a Seattle player was trying to climb into the stands. Yikes.

Well just when you think the Browns may win. The packers take the game to OT and win 27-21
Arizona and Tenn in a slug match. The key factor was mariota's 2 picks which helped the cardinals get away with a home win.
Chargers and Rivers are way too much for Washington. Washington had a hard time getting 200 yards of total offense which lead to LA putting up 30 points on them.
Denver shuts out the Jets 23-0. The defense finally back on track after a shaky stretch.
Carolina stuns the Vikings with a win at home. Stewart lead the charge by running for 3 TD's and 100 yards on the ground.
KC Over Oakland 26-15. Hunt ran for 115 yards on the ground. Oakland is struggling to get the running game going.
Detroit holds off the TB late charge of 2 TD's in the 4th quarter to take a 3 point victory. Both QB's struggled with 2 Picks.
Dallas hammers the giants. Dak had a great game with 3 TD's and over 300 yards while Eli struggled with 2 interceptions.
Buffalo and Indy in a snow storm , but the Bills came through in OT. Both teams had a hard time moving the ball given the weather conditions.
Cincy had 5 defensive starters out and it showed. Chicago moved the ball with ease and put up 33 points. Howard ran for almost 150 and 2 TD's
SF Over Houston. Savage had a vicious hit in the end zone but still returned to the game. Hopkins can't carry the team on his shoulders.
Jacksonville continues to impress everyone. Their offense is deadly and they can put up yards on the ground (Fournette) and Bortles continues to look sharp. They took this game over the Seahawks and Wilson's 3 Interceptions. Seahawks tried to make a rally but fell short.
Rams and Eagles was such an up and down game. There was a chance LA would come back after Wentz got injured, but a late turnover by LA led the Eagles to seal a 37-35 win.

Prediction:
Steelers and Baltimore (SNF):
Pitt : 24
Baltimore: 13

Miami and New England
NE: 31
Miami: 10
Baltimore: 13

They are a very solid team, but the NFC South trio aren't slouches and Minnesota has been playing very well too. Not to mention, Seattle and LA are certainly not pushovers either. There is no clear winner there in that group, Wentz or not. If Foles can play like he did years ago, this team has a shot. It's going to be a heck of a postseason.

Foles would have to ball. The Rams were a tough game with Carson throwing 4 TDs. The Seahawks are tough to beat anytime Wilson is wearing a helmet. The Vikings biggest issue is that Keenum is their QB, but he has been playing well. I am not sold on them yet as SB contenders only because this is a QB league. The Falcons and Panthers are inconsistent, but either team could go hot in the playoffs and make a run.

The Eagles issue is that the loss of Wentz really can suck all of that hard earned momentum away. Foles might play well enough in relief, but I doubt it will be enough to make it to the big game.

Steelers and NE next week is gonna be a HUGE game.

Browns vs Ravens. Do I really need to bring this up? Browns lose again....
Jacksonville absolutely destroyed Houston 45-7. They are looking very sharp on offense.
Carolina and GB: Rodgers was back but had a few too many picks (3). Newton looked great with 4 TD's and very effective through the air.
Kamara is back for NO and they had enough firepower to overtake the Jets. Petty gave up 2 Picks and the turnovers costed them 31-19
Philly vs NYG. Wow.. This one was a close one all the way to the end. NYG had it 4th and goal on the 6 or so and could not punch it in for the W. Philly escapes.
Buffalo takes a close one over Miami. They won this one with all the turnovers caused by Cutler. Props to Buffalo they keep finding ways to win and stay alive for the playoffs at 8-6.
Washington with a close W over Arizona 20-15. Arizona controlled the run game (140 yards) while Washington's was no where to be seen. Cousins played well to lead them to a victory.
After hearing about Marvin Lewis wanting to resign they got demolished by the Vikings 34-7.Dalton was 11/22 wth 2 picks, just not a good effort vs a very strong Minnesota team.
Rams came to play in Seattle. Absolutely demolished the Seahawks on their own field. Todd Gurley just slashed them on the ground with almost 150 yards and 3TD's at halftime.
NE and Pitt.. what a game ... A very controversal call at the end with the mis-catch, and Ben should of just spiked it and took it to OT. Gronk was huge for Brady and they win 27-24. Brady is the GOAT for a reason.
SF and Tenn: Tenn took the lead with 1:07 left after a huge FG. Both teams battled back and forth all game and in the end and the SF get a FG with 3 seconds left and a 3rd straight win.

Upcoming Games:
Dallas and Oakland (SNF) ** Prediction Dallas W **
ATL and TB (MNF) ** Prediction ATL W **

Browns lose their 15th and secure first round pick. Bears win 20-3
Denver either looks good, or they don't show up. Washington pushed them aside 27-11
Carolina struggled vs a weak Tampa Bay team, without much offense they still sneaked away with a 22-19 win over the Bucs.
Jets lose @ Home to the Chargers. Powell ran for 145 yards, but wasn't enough as they lost 14-7.
KC 29-17 over Miami. Hill and Hunt dominated the game combining almost 200 yards of total offense. Miami had trouble holding onto the football and losing 2 fumbles.
Atlanta could not find the run game, and when you are one dimensional vs a high power Saints offense it will be tough to win. Saints move to 11-4 after a 23-13 win.
Cincy with a surprising win after the news of Marvin Lewis over Detroit. Stafford had an off day and it showed. 26-17 Cincy with the W at home.
The rams went on the road to play Tennessee and barley hung on to win 27-23. Gurley had over 250 yards of offense and 2 TD's through the air. This guy is a STUD. Gurley is the NFL Leader in TD's.
Arizona is making NY look helpless. Manning threw 2 picks, and they have a combined 37 yards of rushing on the ground. Easy W for the cardinals.
Bortles struggled vs SF as he threw a total of 3 picks and one of them being returned for a touchdown. Jacksonville as hot as they have been take a L close to the playoffs.
Zeke is back for Dallas and they really put him to work rushing for 24 times and almost 100 yards. Bailey missed 3 field goals as Seattle gets a huge win. They just a Falcon loss and a win vs Arizona next week to give them playoff hopes
