2 week cycles?

Noticed I have been reading about running 2 week cycles follow by 4 weeks off, has anyone ever tried doing this? What is everyone's thoughts on doing this? Seems like running a test base becomes unnecessary and recovery would be pretty easy.

Well case closed then...why do you deem them useless? Havent ran myself and i understand you wont gain the 10+ lbs from a normal cycle but if you could put on 2lbs every time it would add up.
