ok my situation is where I work I can get a 30-45 minute lift in twice during the day. first on around 10am and second around 12:30. So my question is should i lift twice a day at work or should i wait till after work to do my workouts? They would both be about an hour. Is there any benefit to either one? Would it be even better to do 30 mins twice a day and then a big workout after work? Should I do multiple body parts or just the same during the entire day? Ive been doing the push pull legs split for a couple years so i dont know how that would work.

That isn't a huge time between, so timing of meals and stuff could get a little tricky, but could still be doable depending on your preferences.

There are also a couple other ways you could break it up too.

You could do a short workout during one of your breaks then another workout later in the day that is potentially longer. Depending on what you have available for equipment you could split it as cardio during one and weights during the other session, "main" exercise(s) during one session and then accessories during another, or just an even split.

Honestly wouldn't overthink it, I find nutrition around multiple day sessions tends to be a little tougher than the actual splitting part.

I’d say just this. Try something and see how it goes. You can always switch later.

I would do your compound stuff for workout 1 and lighter accessory stuff in workout 2 and then feed your face.
No reason why you can't eat some food between workouts. Then you have the rest of your day off afterwork!

I think If I has 2 30-45min breaks at work I would end up getting 2 half ass workouts in. By the time you change and warm up your workout is half over. Then you need time to clean up and change back into dry clothes.

I would do some light cardio at work and do the real workout after. Or do something easy like arms at work and the big body parts after work.

I'm leaning hard on no weights till after work tho

i would not change cloths and would try to keep sweating to a minimum. Yes i would sweat but not enough to drench a shirt or dripping. I guess im just torn because here i have a weight room availiable during the day and its at work. If i dont work out here I drive 30 mins away to a PF. I just want to think it thorough because once i make a decision im going for bore for at least 8 weeks.

According to me you should do it at once, not in chunks. You will be able to accomplish your fitness goal even if you workout once per day, make a workout routine that provides you a lot of benefits and be strict to that routine at a proper time not in parts.
Make your body stable. Try core strengthening workouts and don’t rush to your body too much.

How long have you been training? What are your goals?

in your last post you stated that you wanted to keep sweating to a minimum. That pretty much answers the question, do it after work. If not sweating is more a concern than how hard you work the. It’s a half ass workout anyways. If you are new to training you don’t need multiple sessions a day. I would opt to use the time to do some Light cardio like walking and/or stretching and foam rolling. Then do the real workout after work. Or structure it to do some light accessory work in mostly single joint movements.
