1st injectable cycle. Pins?

What's up AM. So I just purchased everything I need for my first 12 week injectable cycle. 4 vials of test E, 5000 iu hcg, and pharma adex. I also have plenty of Nolva and clomid on hand. My questions are about pins, filters etc. First question being how many pins do I need and what sizes? I know there's one size to draw, one to inject and I need slin pins for the hcg. I also want to be safe and order what man filters to filter the gear. I'm sure I could do the math and take a stab at it but I'd like to know what has worked for you guys in the past. Thanks guys

For 12 weeks at two shots a week that's only 24 syringes.

For my cycle I just ordered 100 23g 1.5" pins and 100 extra 25g 1" needles only. It's fairly cheap for that. I draw with the 23g and inject with the 25g. If you are getting pins for drawing alone then you could go bigger than 23g, I was just planning on using the 23g for glute injections as well, but I switched to the smaller pins for that.

For your cycle you could get away with only 50 pins easily. I am not sure on the slin pins as that depends on how you dose the HCG. I don't use filters and I don't know anybody that does.

21g to draw
23-25g 1.5 inch pins for glutes
23-25g 1. inch pins for shoulders,quads etc

18-21g to draw 1"
23-25g for injection. I prefer 25g, personal preference. Glute 1.5" length.
Get alcohol prep swabs prepackaged from cvs or where ever... To clean the vial top. And use another swab to clean the injection site.

I would recommend injecting much more frequently. Just space your dosage out over the week for every second day injections. Hcg once cracked from the vial is only good for like 20-30 days. So ifu have 5000ui in one glass pippet u may need to get another near the end. Or start hcg week 6-8. The reason I recommend injecting much more frequently is because your testosterone levels will reach peak concentration within 3 weeks max. Rather than 5-6. The reason for this is because test e releases is mg dosage over 10 days. So if u inject every second day of test e 250mg by day 6 you are releasing 75mg a day of estrified test e. Rather than 50mg that would have been achieved with 2 shots a week. So by day 9 or whatever (I've lost count). Ur releasing 125mg. Notb75 which is what u would be on a day after ur third shot of 2 shots a week.

For the test, if your doing a lot of oil per injection then draw with 21 gauge. If not 23 can be fine, depends on how patient you are. I use 23 to inject, 1 inch for delts and quads, and 1.5 for glutes. I do 3 week rotations, with first week being L/R glutes, next week L/R Quads, and third week L/R delts. So for you, 2 injects per week would mean a min of 24 syringes at 3 ccs needed. You will need twice the number of pins, so it would be 48 minimum for pins. It doesn't matter what length you have to draw with, so you can go with 24 1.5's and 24 1 inches. You might be thinking that you will have too many 1.5's on hand, and not enough 1 inches for your quads/delts... just simply use the 1.5's more often to draw with each injection, therefore you will be freeing up more 1inches, which you will then have a balanced ratio etc...If you want to make things easier, just order 50-100 of syringes, and 50-100 of the 1.5's and 50-100 of the 1's. You can have better peace of mind this way and also have to make orders less frequently...and unlike me, you wont ever run into the scenario of running out of pins and not realizing it until the inj time and trip out. GL

Draw with 20 or 21 gauge length doesn't matter, pin with 25 gauge 1 inch. NEVER use the same needle to draw and pin.

Drawing dulls the pin number one and number 2 if you use a larger pin to draw you can do so much more quickly. The you switch to a smaller size pin to inject.

First pin with a 19g 1 1/2 . in my delts haha def not fun ... another rookie mistake i made was drawing from a test vial and a deca vial then pinning ... also got a minor infection from not cleaning the area of inj and the bottle top.

Damn , thanks for sharing...
Bet that 19g fn hurt

It def did and most of it probably leaked out . I tried quad and said f this drew with 23 and pinned with it for 6 weeks best time to pin is after hot shower imo...

I agree with this. The heat relaxes the muscle. You can also heat a small bit of water and sit the vials in it to warm up the oil makes the inject a lot smoother. But like always don't forget to clean the caps after you warm it up!

Thanks for the advice fellas. Especially on the hcg. I probably would have mixed it all right away. My plan on it was 500 iu per week starting week 3 of a 12 week cycle. I also appreciate the advice on pin sizes- super helpful. If anyone has a better suggestion I'm all ears. I also like the idea of mor frequent t pins. Luckily my wife is on board with the cycle(only took about 6 months to get her to agree to it lol) so frequent pins should be fine since I have nothing to hide.

I did have a question about filtering gear too if any of you guys do that. How do they work? I want to be as safe as possible especially since I'm using ugl gear.

If you're lean you can also use the slin pins for your gear if you are doing it in the delts. It's pretty much pip free. Just sterilize the top of the vial and back load the slin syringe with whatever gauge you have

Another thing I have heard of some using 1.5" needles for the injection that way you can leave .5" out just in case needle breaks you have some sticking out to try to get it out of you. Sure it's rare but you may be jumpy first few pins

I have 18g to draw with and 23g 1.25 inch for the actual injection, works fine for quads and glutes and you can bury it so you can keep it nice and steady.

I highly recommend drawing with a larger gauge like 18g. I tried drawing with 23g and that was very slow and annoying and I got a lot of air which made it hard to measure out the right amount then I had to get the air out then reinsert the needle into the bottle to put some back.

Don't forget to draw air into the syringe of the amount of oil you want to inject to change the pressure in the vial otherwise it makes it even harder to get out.

Yes, the contents of the vial should be sterile and contaiminant free so you don't need to filter on the way out. Make sure you insert the pin into the rubber stopper at a 45 degree angle bevel side up and then adjust the angle to avoid getting pieces of rubber into the vial.

A few other common sense things - clean the area where you lay out all your prep gear, I prefer to lay down some paper towel, wash your hands first and as others have mentioned, always swab the top of your vial.

Why is that? Just curious.

Dullness and possible (but unlikely) cases of infections from the needles contact through the rubber on the vial. Usually the ba solution in the oil can kill it, but I have personally known infections that resulted from exactly this method of injection. Save your self the fret, time, money (antibiotics, doctor), etc and follow the standard protocol of IM injections as we see practiced in the medical field today.
