1st Epistane Cycle

Hey everyone I'm new here. I just thought I needed somewhere to put down what I'm trying to do in order to keep track of my progress and to get any advice possible.

I'm 22, 5'10", 180lbs. at approx. 15%BF
I'm an experienced lifter and I just began my first epistane cycle. (day 2)

Apart from staple supplements like protein, glut, creatine, bcaa, etc. i've preloaded cycle support. i'll take the needed 2 scoops/day that is called for while on cycle.

I plan on doing a 4 week cycle of epi @ 20/30/30/40

For PCT I'm planning on continuing cycle support as well as taking nolva. the nolva will run for 4 weeks @ 40/40/20/20..starting the 2nd or 3rd week of pct i believe i'll start using reduce XT to help keep my gains, along with ZMA for added help/sleep, and possibly 6oxo or a test booster..

my workout regiment will consist of a five day split. i normally switch it up every 2-3 weeks, but a quick example would be: mon-chest tues-back/traps weds-arms thurs-shoulders fri-legs. rest over the weekends. i perform heavy compound sets (the max ot workout to be exact. ive been on it for almost 5 months now). ill do cardo 2-3 times a week while on cycle.

my goal is to gain about 6-8 pounds of lean muscle. anything over that will be a huge plus in my opinion. i eat a clean diet high in proteins and carbs. ill try my best to up the calories by at least 600/day.

i'm sorry this is a long post, but i know from experience how people like to know as many details as possible in order to follow someone's progress and to give any advice. i'll try to update as often as possible. let me know what you all think about what i have laid out. any info would be sweet.

cycle looks good for a starter cycle, dunno if nolva is even needed for an epi cycle though...if you plan on using cycle support from ai, you may want to look at their post cycle support pills (not the best thing in the world for pct, but if your looking for an otc supp that would work for epi this might just do it)imo
Also, almost all logs ive read about epi/havoc have shown that after the 3rd week on cycle gains drop off dramaticaly..going from 4 to 5 lbs in the third week on average to 1-2 lbs in the 4th...so if your looking to keep side effects to a minimum you may look at some of the logs and think about dropping the 4th week and going straight into pct...

I've been wondering that myself, what you said about the shorter cycle. I'm into my second week with epi (30/30/40/40) and was thinking about uncreasing the dose and shortening the cycle. I've read so many different opinions, its making my head spin. Some people have said that the epi at 30 mg won't do much for me at my size (225) that its more for 170-180 guys.
 
i ran a havoc cycle 30/30/30/40. in my opinion if you lift good eat a lot you will gain more then 6-8 pounds. i gained 18, i also train for strength and not size. my pct was just a novedex xt from the store. idk i'm a little confused, you seem to do a minimum of muscle groups a day. thats for more size then strength. honestly eat 5000 cals a day and you will see some gains. YOU MUST BE FULL AT ALL TIMES (every day)
 
UPDATE:

Today is day 7, and I've finished my first week of epi and lifting. No real strength gains as of yet. I'm not expecting that until later next week. I'm up 2.4 pounds thus far, to 182.4. I'll be starting 30mg tomorrow for week 2.

Any suggestions for an effecient test booster to take along side my nolva during pct? I haven't made up my mind yet.
 
It seems to be hit or miss. Some people bloat terribly and other dont notice anything at all. Just wondering what your experience will be.
 
UPDATE: day 10 (week 2) @ 30mg/day

Up to 182.8 Total gain: 2.8 pounds

Today was exciting. I am noticably more hungry. It's hard fitting in all the extra calories, especially since I'm teaching and there isn't a lot of downtime where I can sneak a bar, shake or sandwich. But, so far I feel I have managed as good as possible. At the gym I worked my bis and tris. Today was also the first day I felt a notable difference in the gym. Especially when working my tris. I added more reps to my exercises, and upped the weight in two of them. Next week will be heavier for sure. Due to the added hunger and positive boost in the gym I am now confident that the epi is kicking in and doing its job. I estimate that my weight gain after this week will be decent, and next week's will be even higher. So, things are about to take off. I'll keep you posted.

no bloating as of yet. the slightest bit of a short temper. but, then again i'm a little short temperred to begin with, AND my surroundings have been extra stressful recently. so, this may not be an accurate side. Just a note.
 
about the short cycle...i had the opposite experience. i didnt begin to really grow until week 3, so i pushed it out to a 5 week cycle. after 5 i was ready for a break though, and my gains slowed down. week 4 was amazing though i was at my strongest ever and absolutley huge. just some stats..on my first cycle week one i was 247 lbs pressing 315 for 6 reps. (i know bench press isnt everything but its a good scale.) end of week 4 i was 269 lbs pressing 325 for 12 reps. wonderful stuff that epistane..you should be satisfied just keep your cals way up and sleep! i was actually bigger in the morning after a solid 8 hours than the night before. wonderful experience. oh..subbed
 
Day 18 (week 3)

I decided to up week 3's dose to 40mg/day. So my dosing looks like this: 20/30/40/40

Weight is starting to take off. Finally. Up to 186.4(Started at 180) as of yesterday morning. It's been going up about 1/2 lb every day the past few days. I've only seen a slight increase in body fat. Cutting in 1-1/2 months for summer shouldn't be too difficult since you can still slightly see my abs. There's not a whole lot of fat to lose. So, it looks like I may be able to reach 190 or so like I wanted before cutting. I worked tris and shoulders today. It was a crazy workout. I will definately be sore tomorrow.. At the gym I've been able to up my weight slightly and add more reps. So, not a huge change there, but I am gaining weight and I look and feel fuller/bigger. There may be a slight bloat, but it's hardly noticable. Could be just from being full all the time ;) No sides or mood swings notable either.
 
are you planning to start your cut right after you finish your cycle/pct? or gonna like work your way to it, gradually reducing your calorie intake. the reason i ask is im right in the middle of a cut and am gonna start another cycle in about 4 weeks or so. seems like that would be pretty dang tough.

i'm going to try to start my cut right after PCT. We'll see how it goes. I don't have a whole lot of body fat to begin with, so I'm hoping I won't need to do a ton of extra work.Like I said, my abs aren't totally unnoticable..

UPDATE: Day 22 (Week 4)

Today I'll work my chest in the gym. My weight is up to 187.4 (7.4 lbs increase). The end of this past week was when I gained most of my weight. So, I'm going to eat huge this last week and I should be able to reach my 190 mark. Gains are decent in my opinion. I definately feel and look bigger. I'm in the home stretch. Let's make it count...

What would be a good test boost to take with my nolva for pct? I can go pick it up whenever.
 
thats great man..you can really notice the differance when your on epi, far as diet goes. hope you took some before pictures. i was floored by the results. what are you taking to counter the methyl effects (i.e. joint pain and soreness) ?
 
i'm in pct now. start of the 2nd week. i'm taking jungle warfare along with my nolva. I'm running the nolva at 40/40/20/20, and the JW at 40/40/30/10/10. I also found some lean xtreme, which i'll start during the 3rd week of pct. this should help me keep my gains as well as help me begin my cut phase. all looks good. so far i've stayed around 189lbs. I'm hoping to maybe even gain a couple pounds with the JW. Time will tell. I was away this past weekend and I didn't have food everywhere I went like I would if I was home. Therefore, I lost a couple pounds. It sucks but I'm not too worried about it. I should get it back, and I still look bigger than before my epi cycle. So I must be doing well.

I haven't had to take anything for the joint pain. I thought I would have to since my shoulders give me problems at times to begin with. But, I was able to get through everything without it. I think I'll do another epi cycle near the end of summer. I was happy with the moderate weight gain, most of it in muscle, with no side effects in such a short period of time.
