13 Weeks to RPS Rawdawg Nats: Herder's PUUUGHE Comeback

Pats lost a first round pick, smoker. Google is your buddy.

Well no one else said it when I asked .

So what the nfl is saying is:
1 debatably intentional interference in a game, equals cheating for years? Interesting

What Goodell is saying is: I am God. No different from how he always does it. Judge, jury, executioner. He does what he feels boosts the image of the NFL. Enough people were mad about it that he made the penalty severe.

Looks guys, I just received a super nova as a gift so we should all just think about our actions...

I know. And no one in the NFL said that, you're inferring things that aren't there and being ridiculous. Again.
again, how am I being ridiculous in debating the possible penalty? Everyone is talking about it, even you did in one of your posts. So how is it ridiculed for me to do that ?

You're not discussing the possible outcomes of anything, you're inferring that the NFL believes that what Bellichek did and what Tomlin did are the same (or that what Tomlin did is worse).

You're making ridiculous extrapolations based off of nothing, and in that way, are being ridiculous.

You're not debating the penalty. You're using hyperbole and when no one bites, you repeat yourself using the same hyperbole. Trust me, most of Pittsburgh is not as upset about this as you are. The season is already a failure and has been since week 4, so let all the bad shît happen this year and next year our goal will be, once again, to win a championship.

Before we take what I said out of context: Whether they achieve that goal is irrelevant. The Steelers only have one goal, and it's the same every year. Tomlinism #1: The standard is the standard.

Rob, you're going to have to explain this one to me. Use nontechnical terminology and small words.

I'm debating the possibility of a draft penalty. I have stated the fiscal penalty is whatever

Whatever you say

I wasn't for tomlin on this originally but his responses have been very classy. It's a judgment call.

Every word out of his mouth is 100% class. My favorite was when we won the AFC Championship or something big like that and they brought some cameras into the locker room for the postgame speech. Pretty standard coverage these days, but it's not often done in Pittsburgh. He said "Alright, we came and did what we wanted to do. Move on to next week. As you all know, we don't discuss our business in front of company, so I'll see you all on Tuesday." Reporters had no idea what to do.

He always seemed like a good dude, but I'm not sure how I feel about him now.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion about it, but it sure looked intentional when I saw it.

Fair enough, bud. You're right, everyone's entitled to their opinion, even if it's wrong. :P An opinion can't be wrong, that's the joke! Get it? Get it?

Smoker:

Please stop polluting everybody's threads with your nonsensical football discussions.

Sincerely,

The forum...

Like or dislike(which if I was Baltimore and I lost I'd hate him...he'd be a ***** so I would hate him anyway lol) he is someone a fan would like to have.

Edit: don't know why it censored r I v a l

I just had an awful/awesome moment. Another size milestone, if you will. Went in the bathroom, took a real grinder, sweating all over the place. Post"workout" had my first lat cramp.

I think I've now experienced 15 or 16 of Dave Tate's "Reasons I Love Being HOOGE."

Thanks for the update, looking thick, solid, and tight. Keep up the hard work.

Bro, did you know Tebow and Foles are both better than future hall of fame QB Peyton Manning?

look your married I'm sorry I never responded to any of your texts, emails, written letters, faxes or calls. Get over it I'm not interested, focus on your wife not me dude. Oh and I'm sending back the stained teddy bear, flowers and chocolates. Use them to try and patch things up with your wife that is if you allow her to have chocolate on Easter. I hope we can continue to be civil and have a friendly relationship.

No more sports talk from me. All buisness on here from now on from me

I'm tired, bro! 50 square of shingles, up the ladder, down the ladder, up the ladder, down the ladder. I was at the convenience store trying to grab some lunch and I'm wobbling like a damn Jell-O sculpture.

Then get to bed and get some rest. Heal up and kill something tomorrow. I miss lifting weights...

Back to some BS sports talk....

Weight is 233. Fück yeah. Nice easy cut.

Gonna bench in a minute here. Basically going to do my warmup routine for the meet, some pausers, JMs, then do some rows with light weight, pull ups, pullaparts, preacher curls, what have you.

Sean wanted me to lift already, the Dude abides. Woo buddy, feeling goooooood.

Bench

Barx5 sets
95x2x5
135x5
185x5
245x3
295x1
315x1

Took me a good while to settle into my arch, hence a gajillion sets under 100lbs. I won't have that kind of time on meet day, unless I'm in the most courteous and leisurely warmup group I've ever seen. That's alright, I will adapt as necessary come meet day. Weight felt heavy in my hands until I got up to 245.

Arm that always bothers me was bothering me. I expected it to do so, from doing plumbing stuff on Monday and Tuesday. My arm felt like it was going to fall off crimping fittings, so I'm actually happy about how it felt today. Blew everything up, too. Then I threw down a little challenge set.

Lilly Pauser (5 mississippi)
245x5 @9

The rest of the session was my normal assistance at weights that were on the light side of normal, but still with a weight that I would use in serious training. Just did half the volume and minimum number of reps, eights instead of tens, and tens instead of 15s.

Pullups
2x5

High Pulley
2x10

Facepulls
2x10

Pullaparts
4x10

Delt Raises (side and front like always)
2x8

DB Preacher
4x10 needed the stretching

Poundstone Curls
Bar x50 that's a first, I believe. Pretty cool, huh? My arms must be at least 13% more jacked from all of the Poundstone curls I've been doing.

Felt good to get back at it. If I ever take three days off again, just slap me.

Yesss! My goatee is coming along nicely, though my hair will never be that excellent. Which is . . . like . . . A bummer, man.

Hah...unfortunately I am in Sean's boat with the hairstyle. Lol

Like Clint Eastwood said: "A man's got to know his limitations" Lol

I'm creeping up on MPB slowly but surely. Even when I had my full complement of hair, it was so curly and thick that it would just look like a brushpile instead of flowing epically.

My 22yr old is reppin the Dan Green flow these days...

LOL. Well put.

You use minoxidil, keto shampoo, and/or finasteride? They work, of course the latter will reduce DHT, which I find can compromise explosiveness and also make you wetter. But the first 2 are totally benign and can be effective, particularly for thinning at the crown. Heh, heh, I said crown. I will add frenulum for shytz and giggles.

And nice return to training. I just took 3 days in a row off myself, for the second time since Thanksgiving.

Good advice, thanks Jinxie. Really it probably comes down to my using DHT based compounds at the higher end of normal dosing on and off for the past year and a half. So if I weren't doing it to myself, I'd be more inclined to stop it. Plus, I've known my fate from a young age, my family has a 100% rate of baldness. It's not a huge concern of mine to take the razor to my head, my scalp is absolutely gorgeous. I'm already a pretty wet guy as it is, and I LOVE epi/SD/SDMZ/stano etc. for the strength, explosiveness, and hardening effects.

Makes total sense.

Gorgeous head -- you've planted a seed in mind, for something to receive tonight, after 8 days away from the missus. ;)

Pulls were straight up ass today. Couldn't find my groove, felt like I was out of position. Belt was too tight, it was all weird.

Started with 245, felt the same way all the >50% weights feel when I warm up for pulls: weird. 335 took me about 6 singles before I moved it satisfactorily. When I finally did, I hit a weightless one. 425 I just did maybe 4 conventional and 3 sumo. They moved good too. 475 conventional twice wasn't pretty. Gonna do some pulling with 365 on Tuesday and Saturday next week to groove myself again. I've done this enough times to know I'd pull amazing tomorrow, but the meet is next Sunday.

Looking back, I think the time off this week kind of had my body a little shocked by the weight.

Positive thinking. It's all good. No second guessing. Eye on the ball. :)

Or deez ballz, given recent themes today. ;)

You're right. I had a battle going on in my head the whole session and a short while after. I was working hard to not get down on my efforts and start worrying about meet day. Luckily, experience and film prevailed. I actually went back to the tape and looked at the two previous weeks' work with 475, and I wasn't that much slower today. Just felt slow and heavy because some days it does that.

Just saw TSO at Consol Energy Center. Hell of a show.
