I don't disagree with you on it being dishonest, because it is. I'm just talking about the fact that it isn't different than any other sport in that aspect.

I was actually talking to my buddy about Mike today because he is/was getting trained by him, then I went home and saw Marshall post about his passing on FB.

He was my wife's favorite WSM competitor, I do wonder what happened though.

I mean, he weighed 400+lbs. Fat, lean, any combination thereof. 400lbs is 400lbs. Not easy on the body. Brandon Lilly said at TWAJ he'd be dropping to 250 as quickly as possible sometime in the next few years for his health.

I don't care about Jones getting the TD or not, but that kind of foul play doesn't sit right with me.

You can see him with his head turned to see over his shoulder the whole time, and then he throws his foot out, and then jumps back? Suspect.

He knew what he was doing, idk whether Jones would've gotten it or not, and really it didn't matter in the end, but to stoop so low.....

I hope he gets fined for it.

I actually used to like him as a coach too, but this is some Bellichek level ****.

Stooping low? Foul play? Belichik level shît? Say those things out loud to see how silly it sounds.

His head turned to see over his shoulder? He's wandering along the sideline when suddenly he hears a guy thundering along at Mach 1, and he gets out of the way. Can you leap left if you don't sink and drive on your right foot?

I honestly didn't care about the play at all, and I only cared a mite bit more about the game, it's only football, after all. But you're gonna question a guy's integrity all the way a Belichick level? Even if Tomlin was the one who tackled Jones, that's simply not the case.

Hell, I thought it was funny as it happened and the whole time afterward. I didn't know I was going to wake up and have to defend Mike T's integrity as a human being. Usually I say that if he's good enough for Mr. Rooney, he's good enough for me.
 
Tomlin shouldn't have been standing there but he in no way at all tried to trip him. Don't want the dumbarse slow mo clips. Watch full speed. He literally hears him coming and tries to get out of the way. Sure, give him a little fine for standing where he shouldn't and stepping on the field. But to say he attempted to trip Jones is a big stretch. Watch the video, and objectively say, do I honestly thing that guy tried to trip the other one. I think we can all come up with the same answer if we are honest with ourselves.
 
All I'm saying is if Baltimore loses that game it isnt funny. Game wasn't change so not too big a deal. Playoff and outcome changes...chaos.

i'm a tomlin slappy, i think he's a great coach, it had no bearing on the game whatsoever, and it was kind of funny.

a fine would be pretty retarded.

when they were talking to jones about it, he said "i saw him standing there and was like, does he know i'm coming? he has to know I'm coming right?"

then he kind of acknowledged he knew he wasn't gonna score, the corner/safety was all over him two steps later...

I watched full speed, and the replays.

Also, notice that I never once said he tried to trip him. I do think he was attempting to be close enough to change his direction to give defenders a better chance (although again, he probably wasn't scoring, but still).

Really? The Steelers head coach is leisurely "wandering" along the sideline while he's losing a division *****ry game and needs a win to keep playoff chances alive? Say that out loud and see how much sense it makes.

You'd figure he'd be paying attention to the game or something, especially since you can see he isn't looking up at the jumbotron like he said he was in the press conference. (since he's very obviously not looking up towards the jumbotron, and if he was he would've seen himself long before he jumped away)

If Cowher would have mistakenly (or intentionally) found himself on the field of play, he would've gone headset to helmet on some fools.
 
Been doing a lot of sitting this week, hip flexors tighter than fish pussÿ so I went in and hit up a squat practice session.

Agile 8, Super D hip set. Lunges and split squats with the bar. Maybe four sets of LBBS with the bar. Hammy giving me some crap for the first three sets.

Maybe a scooch high on my last one. Side spotter was standing in the way of the camera. I sat back more than usual today, felt more powerful and more comfortable, but the more I sit back the harder it is to keep positioning as I approach depth, hence the desire to terminate depth. Good information to have on hand so I can adjust as needed.

Sunday is 500xAMRAP day! Judging by bar speed of 455 today (smokeshow) I should be able to get three or four. I will not take a rep that I'm not positive I will hit, so 2 or 3 is the likely answer. It remains to be seen.

If that goes as planned, then openers will be out of the way and from then on out it will be staying mobile and staying in practice.
 
Okay, we've seen film of my whole training cycle less most of the squats, what do we think of 500/340/505 for openers? Squat opener pending Sunday of course.

Hey, breathing is the place to start. Then you slowly add in Cressey, Super D, K Starr, and Joey D. I'd say add in Agile 8 and Simple 6 ASAP. They're quick and easy.

Thanks, buddy. I have to make sure it all comes together on meet day. Everything goes right I'll have 1500. Worst case I get 1400. Most likely is 1435-1460.

I personally think no one should schedule anything during football seasons on Sundays. That said I may be better off not seeing my Giants. Raises my blood pressure too much haha
