1. Arch is looking bigger again IMO like when you PR'd last year.
2. No sling shot sleeve on 355 means bicep is feeling good. That's awesome.

Thanks, guys. This rotation has really really worked well for me. When I first got into powerlifting, I was trying what I was reading. As I've been working it, I've learned what I need to to for ME. That's why it's coming along so swimmingly right now. Also, the foundation that Cube Kingpin has laid is simply astounding. Everybody I train with who's running it is collecting PRs pretty much every time they step into a gym. Lamonster has earned the right to OPEN with 305 after never pausing anything over 295 until today. This program should yield tip top results for me for a long time.

I think 1460-1500 is where I'll end up this meet, depending on how well I can get my hip flexors unglued (they've been a big pain lately, seems like an impingement) and how well I can find a way to do low bar squats without aggravating my bicep.

EDIT: You're right, Rob. I got my feet under me more and focused on using my legs for stability instead of actively driving with them. And I figured I better get used to hitting the big weights without the sleeve. I had it on my forearm and it almost seemed to put more tension on my bicep. I need like two slingshot sleeves and a full elbow sleeve for each arm.

Think of how a cop subdues a person, how they take their wrist and jack it up between their scaps. I take a rope handle, attach it to a high pulley, put about 50lbs on, and then let the weight do that to my shoulder. It really frees me up. I think it was Sean who posted a good Super D bully routine the other day. Sorry to whoever posted it if it wasn't Sean.
 
Vids looked great man. Form and arch definitely on point. Your elbows did fly out/up pretty good on the 355, definitely pushing the limits there but smooth rep. I only say that because that's what you always yell at me for ;)

Again, great work man. I think getting my arch form closer to what you have (once I get my hips/ankles more mobile) I will be better off too, looks really good. Kinda what I was getting at/telling you about earlier.
 
Yeah, I definitely threw it back to my head a little earlier than I wanted to and needed to. It didn't slow down yet, so I'm not sure why I did it. Probably not enough lats to hold that bar where it goes on the way down or the way up. Sneaked a high touch and had to run my 'bows back underneath it. For the record, I yell at you for not keeping your elbows tucked on the way down!

Yeah, I definitely threw it back to my head a little earlier than I wanted to and needed to. It didn't slow down yet, so I'm not sure why I did it. Probably not enough lats to hold that bar where it goes on the way down or the way up. Sneaked a high touch and had to run my 'bows back underneath it. Right around 2:30 is how SuperD does it. If I do it the Herder/KStarr way, it ****ing hurts and not worth it. This way, free's me up big time. To each their own method

Appetite, energy levels, morning mobility, and my wind have all been in the toilet the last two days. I think my body is tired of being 235-240. It was a big improvement over not being able to hold that weight, but I'm ready to be lighter again. Blasphemy! But it's true. I'll make a run at it next year after I learn to eat clean and prep meals, and life will be good.
 
I'm gonna just pretend I didn't read that and continue on my day...

It ain't always easy being Big Pimpin. Of course, I'm Lil' Pimpin, #3 behind Admiral Funktastic himself Torobestia and Big Mean Scary Old Man Swanson52 (Get off my lawn!). But I'm gunnin for them after I feel more like a human being.

He has the drug tested world record at 220 in the squat and total (700 and 1770) and his best total to date is earlier this year with a 1925 total @ 235 courtesy of a 725/475/725. I met him once, saw him pounding several orders of pork ribs maybe a week after my first meet, where I saw him take a 500lb bench for a ride and deadlift 710. Obviously, he's built like a brick shïthouse.
 

I didn't realize how outrageous his quads are until I saw his picture on the EFS site. Pause squats with 405 and hit 455 for two doubles on bench are you fückin kiddin me?

Tested is just what it says. Drug tested. But some will go through their training cycle on gear and know when to drop everything so it clears on time.

I don't really see a problem with that. I know the wnpf says you are subjected to drug tests at any time. Doubt they do that, but I guess it could happen.,

I always thought this approach lacks integrity and courage. This isn't baseball, we aren't lifting for millions of dollars or a way out of a third world country; we lift because we love the sport. If the barbell doesn't lie, I personally believe we shouldn't either.

Edit: for the record I think all drugs should be legal. Just not a fan of the lying with a more appropriate avenue available.
 
FWIW, I'm not saying he uses AAS. I'm just saying you can't just assume he's natty because he gets tested.

Yeah, idk who that is.

Baseball player. Tested positive 2 years ago. Denied it, took it arbitration court, and got off on a technicality, faulted to the collector. He then bashed the collector and pretty much ruined his career. Last year MLB discovered he did use when a clinic documents were released. He was then suspended for it.
