It's safe to say that one hasn't truly challenged their levels of stupidity as a lifter until they have A.) Maxed on the same lift three days in a row. B.) Trained in 90 degree weather. C.) Trained in sub 25 degree weather or D.) Prowled under precipitation.

The worst is when you train strongman without a shirt. BLOOD EVERYWHERE.
 
So, I read a lot of logs on Juggernaut and EFS. Yesterday, Brandon Lilly did 28 pull ups in three sets. 300 pounds, 28 reps, 3 sets. Now I feel like a bitch.

Only way to maximize training to its fullest potential? Do dumb stuff.

Today I'm going in and getting some squats and pulls at ~315 to check form and loosen up. Also going to bench again. I usually use a wide grip, but the pinkies on the ring/inside the ring feel awkward. I'm thinking I could get better pop off the chest and ultimately bench more with my grip 3-5" off of the slicks. Gonna try it out today.

I'll give it 20 minutes of hiking it up. I feel that's an appropriate span of time. At the meet, I'm going to have to open with my max so I can get in a late enough flight to put these on!

Ballz I forgot to soak it! Restart my 20 minute clock! This is so much worse than a squat suit. At least then you can rig up the straps and twerk your way into it. This you have to run and slither like a snake.

Smaller ass, and more comfort in ridiculously tight ****. I'm thinking I'm going to blow something up in there. I marked the tight area with sharpie.
 
One HELL of a struggle. I am now convinced that conventional deadlift suits don't offer any carryover, it's just the glute and hamstring activation and hard side bends from trying to get into the suit that optimize performance. Next week I'll beat that ****er.
 
It got hung up in the same spot on my 190lb brother. WTF.

To be fair, brother has the same size ass as I do. The 30lbs difference between us is all upper body and lower thigh.
 
So there's a Vitamin Shoppe around the corner from the #2 flagship GNC in the nation. The Vitamin Shoppe has Purus and Finaflex. GNC has BPI and other assorted bull****. Also, GNC just got rid of it's pro performance line, which had bulk staples. How in the **** do you get rid of bulk staples?

It's so true. When I worked at GNC, everybody wanted a preworkout. They wouldn't even go for protein. Then they come back to me "I don't feel anything from four scoops of Jack3d, and I can't gain mass. What do I need to do?"

BTW, I got Green Apple Condense. DEM PUMPZ! And Finaflex BCAA+SAA. Logs sell supps.

I had so many great stories. The best was when I was 215 and natty for life. Kids would come in and tell me prohormone stories and ask me what I'd taken. They looked at me like I had three heads (size 8 head, I might as well) when I told them I was natty.

Once a guy skinny as a rail came in to buy cheap protein and BPI's AI. I asked why the odd combo. He said he was broke, but on DBol. I ask "Just DBol?" He's all proud, telling me yes. I asked him where the test was, and his face dropped. He told me I was BSing him. So I called over a coworker and told the guy to tell him what he was taking. I repeated that process twice more and taught him what a PCT was and he left the store with his tail tucked between his legs.

I sent so many guys out of that store empty handed it was unreal. Usually it was, "See that chinese buffet next door? Take that 3x/week for four weeks and if you haven't added any mass, I'll buy your stupid-ass MusclePharm Assault."

Never had muscle marinade, but condense will give you pumps that make you think you grew a quadricep made of granite under your triceps.

What just makes me so mad is when ppl dont know what they want, I try to actually help them and stop them from buying junk, and they arrogantly tell me off. It's ok fuvk you, waste your money then

I wish I'd have sold more "blunts" like that in college. Would've really helped my blunt funds.

I actually know a supplier that sold a kid a bottle of Vitamin C to a teen beginner under the impression that it was DBol. When the kid put on 8lbs in a month, he came back for more when the guy told him it was Vitamin C and gave him his money back.

I give them a 'Satisfactory'

Bench
225x5 2" inside ring
225x5 1" from slicks
225x5 3" from slicks (new fave)

The pinkie on ring or pinkie just inside ring wasn't cutting it. That intermediate grip is the worst possible scenario for my bench. Close gives pop but I don't have the tris yet, wide gives no spring off the chest, intermediate gave neither. Though it's hard to say with some 5s with 225.

First ones were gawd-awful. Like, I could have thrown out my back with 275 with the form I used on my first few. Then, I decided to get the bar over the balls of my feet, grab it pretty tight, and then crank my ass down until my shins touched the bar. It gave me some quads off of the floor and felt like I got my March-April groove back.

Basically, the Bret Contreras article I've referenced at least 10 times on this forum shows all the great deadlifters with vertical shins. What I extrapolated was that I need vertical shins, not taking into account that the bar was 4-6" off of the ground in all of the photos. I have effectively nullified what is probably my greatest strength, my quads, for the last four months. Hopefully pulling without leg drive will have given me some weak point gains and will result in big PRs. Not that a fast 225 means much toward a 500+ pull.

I'm real happy with where my form is heading into the weekend. Now it's time to soak it up and let these monsters (and monsterette) take my game to the next level.

Oh yeah, and my finisher was Poundstones x55. Just to spite Jim.

I really like getting some form work in with lighter weights when I haven't done it in awhile. Submaximal volume FTW. If I hadn't taken squats at 315 and then 385 the two days before my meet, I know for a fact would have been buried.
 
Here's tonight's vid: Seeing it put together makes me feel even better about it than I did before. Notice on the last set of squats, I switched from Oly to Chucks to push outward on them. On the last set of bench how I force my knees out, and you can see that my hips get closer to the bar on my better deadlifts.

Yeah, I need to quit divebombing. It's a good way to get **** done on meet day, but it's not a good way to train. I nearly threw out my back on those pulls. I do best with minimum thinking on deadlifts.
