10 weeks to get from 207 to 185-190

So I decided to lose a good amount of fat, and so far it's been almost 2 weeks, and I don't think I am seeing good enough results. I am looking to lose 2-2.5lbs a week, which I know is not impossible. I cleaned up my diet, and looked up BMR and RMR, focused more on my RMR which says I burn 3600cals a day. That seems crazy to me. I have been trying to shoot for 2200cals a day though I think I may fall short of this.. Maybe I need to eat more?

Stats:

Age:28
Height: 5'10
Weight: 207lbs 02/04/10
Bodyfat: Not sure, but high

Diet

Breakfast: 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup milk

snack: 60grams whey protein, 2 cups milk, 2 tbsp of peanut butter, 12 ice cubes (this shake tastes like reeses peanut butter cups)

lunch: 2 servings of chicken/turkey burger, 1 cup vegetables

snack: 30 grams whey, 1 cup milk, 1tbsp peanut butter,8 ice cubes

Dinner: 2 servings of chicken/turkey burger with 1 cup vegetables, or 1cup of chili with 1 cup of rice

snack: 30grams whey protein, 1 cup milk, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 8 ice cubes

Workout: P90x worked hard until I am drenched in sweat, delirious, puking or about to pass out.

Any help would be great.

Eating too many low fiber carbohydrates for starters. Cut out the peanut butter, not a good food for a cut. Add in almonds to your shakes, easier to measure. I doubt you're really getting 1-2Tbsp per shake, probably more. Use 1-2oz of almonds instead and you still get that taste w/o the oil & sugar in most peanut butters. Also lower your consumption of milk if you can, it's usually pretty high in sugar if you're drinking low-fat.

Try to limit the slices of bread to two a day. Make sure the rice you're eating is brown or basmati rice. Also if you aren't making that chili and it's canned I would say scrap it and go for canned black beans, no sodium added. They're a great source of fiber & protein.

I agree. If your not losing weight with your current diet maybe you have a desk job? and need to lower your cals further.

OF course cutting out the milk (sugar is the enemy got it) replacing it with oats/rice or veggies will make things easier.

#2
Use a whey isolate shake (more protein less carbs/sugar) for cutting or at least make sure its very low in sugar.

#3
almonds have got to be one of my favorite diet foods as well
24 almonds = 1 ounce = 180 calories

Though I do like how you have carbs/protein and fats with all your meals

Side note:
Some chillis are alright (again if theres more than 2 or 3 grams of sugar in a serving scrap it, usually theres like 10g in some of those canned chillis) but I have to add plain black beans taste like SH!T. I like refried beans.

I will cut the milk down to 1/2 cup and definitely try the almonds in there instead of peanut butter.

I always make my chili from scrap, and do use black beans. I think they taste great, but I have also put soy beans in my chili as well.

So thank you for all the great advice!

quit the P90x go to weights alternate between low and high weights(high reps low reps) (change every workout)
eat only complex carbs this works for me
make sure you get between 150 to 200 grams of protein minimum
Maybe add some olive oil or coconut oil
