1" or 1.5" 25g needles

You need at least 5" to get to the skeletal muscle. 6" if you want to bulk up your bones!

in seriousness though... it really depends on how much fat you have on your ass... if you have 2" of fat, then 1" isn't enough, as it has to be in the muscle. Then again, if you're totally lean and only have 2" of muscle on your ass, you may not want to go with a 1.5" needle. 25G should be good though. Change the needle tip between drawing and injecting as it blunts the tip slightly.
 
Im pinning tomorrow for Test-E at 500mg a week for 12 weeks, will 1" be enough at 25gauge? Thanks.

Depends on where you want to pin and how fat that area is.

For most bodybuilders 1" is fine for shoulders, biceps, triceps, pecs, lats, traps, all thigh positions & calves. In fact 1.5" is too big for most of those sites.

Glutes can always handle 1.5" and are necessary there only if you carry a moderate amount of fat there. If you are not fat in the butt then 1" pins will be fine for the glute (but make sure you stick the pin in straight).
