I’ve been wondering for years why the night of training I would sleep poorly and sometimes even have insomnia. Sometimes I would sleep through the night (for example, last night of 7 hours, only waking twice) and still feel like I didn’t sleep a wink and I just feel awful. So, like any modern irrational hypochondriac, I resort to google and found the “fitness hangover”. It seems like it’s basically acute overtraining. Does anyone else get this or do this to themselves more accurately?
I don’t think yesterday’s training should have induced it though, unless I’m
3-4 work sets of the following:
Trap Bar Deadlifts
Standing OHP
Pull-Ups
Sled Drags
High Banded Rows
Biceps Curls
