Question; So your supposed to take the insulin right after the workout, then eat before it kicks in & you go hypo? If you have a glucometer what would be the instructions? Diabetics always use a dose called meal replacement before they eat. I’m a bit confused. Could you please clear this up. Thanks
I am currently looking for a bulking agent I can make a shake with. I’d like to gain lean muscle & Im not getting in enough calories. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I hear you. I need the extra help (roids) & I’ll have to do protein shakes. If I can’t get enough calories I thought the least I could do would be to slim down around my mid section. I know the working out is paramount; & I intend to hard
1 problem, I’m lactose intolerant.
I can make my own protein shakes w/ soy milk, soy protein & frozen fruit. Is that ok. When I was younger & upped my calories it would just go to my mid section. Now w/ gastroparesis it’s really hard.
Calories are a big problem! But I think w/ the shakes I can get my intake up; I need some guidance, all my health care providers agree this is safe for me. My internist k ones at some point I’m kicking up the dose, & he’ll watch me. I get blood drawn every week. It’s safe !
It doesn’t feel like advice it feels like belittling. For the calorie thing I’m on an appetite stimulant & will start protein shakes. I’m joining a gym. When I do something I do it right!
Thank you I guess they all don’t remember their first time & they feel good making somebody feel bad; guess those roids their all taking the dose is to high
