  1. HRT meds and airlines

I don't think the lack of a Rx would be the biggest problem. The problem would be bringing a sharp object on board the plane. Your best bet is to look up the carry-on restrictions on your airline's website. Good luck.
  2. HRT meds and airlines

You'll be fine as long as you have your Rx. However, you have to put your syringes in your check-in bag. Have your Rx label on your syringes in the bag too.
  3. traveling with HRT HCG

Get one of those chemical ice packs that you squeeze to activate. Place in a ziplock freezer bag and you're set. That's what I do when travelling. You won't have an issue. Just in case, bring the box with the Rx label on it.
  4. Gynecomastia Removal

    Thanks for your help.
  5. Gynecomastia Removal

Rodja, Thanks for your answer. But, can you please explain to me why. Thanks. Mike
  6. Gynecomastia Removal

I've got a question...since estrogen is stored in fat cells, will estrogen levels be significantly decreased if someone has gynecomastia removal surgery? I looked on the internet for the answer, but didn't see anything. Thanks for looking.
  7. Seeing Dr. John

Baller, As a patient of Dr. John's, I'd say stick with what you are doing until you see him. He'll give you guidelines on any meds plus any supplements that you need/should take. Hope this helps. Mike
  8. Week 4 Feeling Worse

Yeah Bill, It took me about 4 months to start to feel better. I finally think its heading in the right direction (not perfect, but better). After 4 weeks, my T-levels were down, I still didn't have a test for E2, and had ED. It gets better. Just stay on top of it all (learn as much as...
  9. Week 4 Feeling Worse

Why use a med, any med., without the diagnostic testing to back it up? Get the required tests and make an informative decision on YOUR needs. If your doc isn't using the appropriate testing, then find another. Good luck. Mike
  10. Question for DIM users

PlymouthCity, I'm going to respect Dr. John's wishes and not publish what he's done for me as far as specific treatment. I just don't want to anger anyone. Hope you understand. Mike BTW, I am NOT on Estroblock...I just remember him saying that that was the brand he used.
  11. Question for DIM users

Yep JanSZ nailed it. Here's the link if anyone's interested. Mike Invalid Link Removed
  12. Thanks Dr. John...my trip to Lansing

Thanks for the replies guys. A little background...I saw my GP for a physical in Nov. 2006. I complained of fatigue, forgetfulness, and poor libido (sound familiar!!). I had read that these could be symptoms of low testosterone. He performed bloodwork and it revealed a test level of 277. I was...
  13. Question for DIM users

I remember Dr. John saying that he uses a product called EstroBlock. He was on the medical board if I remember correctly. If I was to use DIM, his choice would be my choice!!! I'll try and find the link for ya. Mike
  14. Has Anyone Here Had Gyno Surgery?

Hey guys, Has anyone here had gyno. surgery? I've always had it (since puberty) and have had some growing concerns about it (aesthetics, cancer, etc.). Just curious on folks' knowledge regarding this. Dr. John, feel free to chime in as well please. Thanks everyone. Mike
  15. Thanks Dr. John...my trip to Lansing

I just wanted to write a quick note on my experience travelling to Lansing to see Dr. John. I set up the appointment to see Dr. John after my GP backed out of treatment working with Dr. John as a consultant (and now refuses to even do the bloodwork). Despite the headaches this caused me, it was...
  16. Listen To This Crap!!!

Cpeil and Dr. John, Thanks for the tip. Called my insurance co. As it turns out, my doc did not call in a pre-authorization for the hCG. Because of that, it got denied. However, if my doc fills out the pre-auth, it will be covered and I'll only have to pay $10 (much better than $42)!!! Also...
  17. Listen To This Crap!!!

JanSZ, This was the biggest reference. Despite me not fitting into the "elderly" category (I'm 37), my test levels were below that of the inclusion criteria. Invalid Link Removed The pharmacy was a local pharmacy near Minneapolis owned by Fairview Hospitals. Mike
  18. Listen To This Crap!!!

I had my appointment with my GP this morning (with research articles in hand). After 20 minutes of going back-and-forth, he agreed to let me perform a 1-month "trial" of hCG and Arimidex. I picked up the prescriptions this afternoon. Funny enough, my insurance covered the Arimidex except for a...
  19. Listen To This Crap!!!

The sad part is that Arimidex works to lower serum estradiol in PEOPLE. Although it was approved for women, there are research studies that show it also works for men. I'm bringing one of those references to my doc's office this morning. Mike
  20. HRT Support Drugs (Arimidex and HCG) Insurance - My Head Hurts

Yeah, but can you trust a "research chemical" not intended for human use? I'm not trying to flame anyone, but I'd be nervous using the research liquids. How can you be sure there's nothing freaky in there!!! And, truly I'm asking. People on here have been on it for a while. What kind of luck do...
