    TRT newbie seeking thoughts

Thanks. This protocol is what a private company was recommending for me to start TRT based on blood work. I then bought the supplies myself as it was half the price doing it this way. I’ve also started injecting the test IM in the shoulder and it seems much better. No bruises and feel better too

    TRT newbie seeking thoughts

Hi all, Started TRT therapy 4 weeks ago, 0.5ml Sustanon 250 E5D and 500iu HCG E5D one day earlier than test injection. Have been feeling a bit lethargic and feel a bit of brain fog. Not sure why, and so have arranged new blood test to see what is happening. Wish to have children so hence...

    Shoulder

Shoulder is quite a complex structure. Sounds like it might be your AC joint, but equally you may have damaged your rotator cuff muscles. Definitely suggest seeing someone and getting a scan and/or ultrasound to pin down what's going on.

Can we stil lget ripped without drugs?

mid 40s. Thank you for the complement. I agree with an earlier post that you need to work in cycles of calorie deficit, because your body will get used to it. But dropping fat is essentially just burning more calories than you consume and getting to a level where the body fat % is low enough to...

Can we stil lget ripped without drugs?

So i don't do prohormones or drugs, apart from trying Ostarine for 2 weeks and throwing the stuff away. Of course there's ripped and ripped, but naturally you can get to a decent condition with hard work, patience and consistency. This is just on a car washing day without any special prep...

    Just turned 35

I think generally we can get ourselves overly obsessed with this. I have 10 years on you but am in the best condition of my life and still strong in most lifts than ever before, without hormonal products to boost test. My last blood test indicated test and free test levels pretty much in the...

ASAD - Arthroscopic Sub Acromial Decompression Rehab log

There is probably too much detail, but decided to post the whole lot as sometimes it isn't just the training aspect that people worry about when having surgery. Questions welcome.

ASAD - Arthroscopic Sub Acromial Decompression Rehab log

I had this op just over 2 weeks ago and managed to keep a short diary of my rehab back to training over this period. Obviously the rehab is still ongoing but thought this might be useful to others either with the same/similar condition (basically impingement of the tendons in the shoulder) and...

    Lifting belt recommendation... soft lever?

I use a 4" all round met x belt. Yes it is quite hard when new but will start to soften over time and generally will last you a lifetime. Yes it used to be a little bit harsh on the waist, but it was never so painful that i couldn't use it and gives excellent support.

Your best workout songs (and videos) to get you pumped

So many good tunes to choose from But anything that generates a heightened emotional response works well for me, but not too heavy, otherwise i'd probably throw a barbell through a wall or something and get myself banned for life. Burn it down - Linkin Park Never giving up - Of Mice & Men...

    Looking for some guidance

I wouldn't get too hung up on building muscle if your primary goal is to lose some fat. When the fats comes off, if you are eating sensible and training hard you will protect the muscle you have got and it will start to show through. When i lost about 20lb a few years back, everyone thought my...

CAN YOU LOOK "AESTHETICALLY GOOD" AS YOU GET OLDER ?

It's a double edge sword. Yes we are wiser, know more about how are own bodies respond, probably have cleaner lives and diets, but on the flip side, injuries take their toll, muscles become less elastic and the demands of family can take precedence over the weights room. But in theory, yes, we...

CAN YOU LOOK "AESTHETICALLY GOOD" AS YOU GET OLDER ?

Yep, last summer, so not some old photo from 20 years ago. Hard work and consistency (and i mean really consistent) only had 10 days off from training in 30 years of training. Always training heavy too. I look the same all year round for the past 3 years following changes to diet. Decent...

    Shredded people, do cardio?

Never do cardio. Not necessary, but helpful if you need to burn more calories.

    Shoulder tendinitis

That's a fair amount of time. I'd seek a n opinion from a physical therapist as to what is causing it and likely some form of rotator cuff injury / strain. I'd also push for an MRI if it doesn't improve with anti inflammatory drugs.

    Need training advise

I know you say you want to build muscle, but i reckon there's a fair bit of muscle on your frame right now and if you focused on shedding some body fat the muscle would start to show through and look bigger. I just thought i'd mention this as someone who spent 20 years chasing mass and then...

Advice / help reps arms size

Reps can be deceiving. Focus on time under tension. In other words a slow rep under continuous tension in both concentric and eccentric phases will be much harder and cause more fatigue that several rapid reps bouncing at the bottom of the movement and allowing gravity to drop the weight down...
