I've personally ran both.
EPI at 30,30,40,40,40,50
And halo at 50,75,75,75,100,100
Put on 14 pounds on EPI and 6lbs on halo. Both at the same caloric surplus. Strength gains were great on both but EPI blew halo away.
Both caused issues with sleep.
