You are right. I set that rule for every single thing in my life except for my diet.
I look at it that way too. The type of protein plays a role too. The cleaner the better. I always buy the ON Gold Standard. I should start adding another one (or two) rather than nothing.
I doubt it's BS. If you have your drinks, whether it's beer, wine or hard liquor. You'll notice the difference after drinking this crap for a few days. That first beer will hit you, as opposed to that 4th.

I'm sure 2 pumps a day is much better. I'll be honest though, I do a half a pump (maybe even a pump) after my shower and that is it. I feel great.
