  1. Kat's quest to get lean with LG's C2K

I agree; women do need less rest though. When we lift together my girl will do 2 sets to my one even though we're going fast.

It's not going to get better if you keep aggravating it...
  3. Natural testosterone way too high

If you have real gyno take erase or formestane. Don't worry about high test, it's a good thing.

Yeah also try to get full extension (all the way extended); it's a bit harder that way and harder on your elbow but will give better results.

Very nice set! I agree with kleen's advice about being on the inside of your knee. Another thing I would do is put your other arm on your knee and lean forward a bit to take your back out of it and bring the db to full contraction against your chest and hold it for a sec at full contraction.

Kat how are you doing the concentration curls? Seated or bent over standing? Are you starting with your arm fully extended to the ground? Most ppl can barbell curl 2-2.5x what they strict concentration curl so 45 lb concentration curl is roughly equivalent to 100-110 lb barbell curl, fwiw. I...

Idk, if you watch phil heath's videos the vast majority of his workouts are done with machines. I've only seen him use free weights for rows and occasionally legs. I think avoiding injury is definitely a good reason to use machines, although some machines are harder on my joints than free...

Well it depends on your goals. You should use more than one type of angle if your goal is all out hypertrophy, but a lot of the "pump" you get from flat bb is front delts and tris. I routinely benched 4 plates for reps for years but what's really supercharged my chest development is heavy...

I think you can get better mind muscle connection with a machine; that's why phil heath uses almost exclusively machines. Most of the bbs use a lot of machines because they let you isolate out a muscle better. I would say I use a pretty good mix of machines and free weights, I prefer machines...

Congrats on the anniv! I think this workout looks a lot more reasonable. I've been doing a 12/9/6 rep range lately which is pretty good for volume and strength, 15/10/5 is good too.

Btw there's a crazy sale on PES for those interested in amino IV, select, alphamine, etc, atm. Bodybuilding . Com has 20% off PES and if you order 3 things and email the receipt to [email protected] you get two bottles of Leucine or one bottle of alphamine, alpha t2 or anabeta elite for...

I think your set load and volume is still too high. 31 sets averaging 12 reps is 372 reps. That kind of volume is not going to be particularly sustainable without AAS even for women without risking injury. I think you'd have better results with a set load around 20 sets of 6-12, averaging...

Be careful around fire! I think you should try a program with more weight but less volume. IMO you're limiting your gains by how much volume you're doing. I would consider FST-7 as a good workout to try, using a split like: Chest/calves Back/shoulder Bi/tri Legs I typically do sets of...

I'd prolly skip kettle swings or anything that works the hips/posterior chain for now.

You can always do a chest/back concentration for a few weeks and just do cardio/bodyweight for lower body until you feel better. It's nice to do a concentration on a body part a couple times a year IMO.

Could be muscle spasm leading to sciatic nerve irritation. Alternating heat/cold, NSAIDs (2 aleve twice a day) and relative rest is probably your best bet. I'd give lower body and lower back a rest for a week and see how it goes.
