  7. Appetite suppressant without caffeine?

If we are going on that 1 study, then yes. But personal experience is king. For me, 16 oz of coffee has a satiety effect on my stomach for a couple hours. With caffeine, the effect is negligible

You may want to try decaf coffee. Study: Coffee, hunger, and peptide YY. (2012) Decaf and caf. coffee worked better as an appetite suppressant than caffeine alone. May have something to do between Peptide YY (appetite hormone) and an ingredient in the coffee bean.
  9. Supplements for sweating

Definitely interested to see the blood results. While we wait, here's my opinion on possibles causes. Low free test (maybe due to high E2, who knows) is a definite cause. It would be good to see other blood work, such as TSH, T3, T4, etc... just to rule out hyperthyroidism / Graves disease...

  11. ALCAR causing slight hypothyroidism?

I've always had a very stubborn morning body temperature, usually hovering in the 96.8 - 97.1 range. Recently I've read some studies that carnitine can actually inhibit thyroid hormones, and is even used in hyperthyroid patients. Does anyone have any experience with this, considering that ALCAR...

I have read that as well - something called CERC 501 or something?
  13. The Official "Stablon is a smart drug" thread

From the study: "the effects in the present single dose study are more in keeping with the negative bias seen in depressed patients than with the positive bias induced by a range of antidepressants in healthy volunteers" It is unknown why this is - the study mentions that the decrease in...
  14. The Official "Stablon is a smart drug" thread

I believe you meant delta opioid, as opposed to kappa opioid. Hmm, now that is very interesting about a possible downstream histamine effect. I will have to take a look at this discussion portion of the studies.
  15. The Official "Stablon is a smart drug" thread

From this study you posted: Opioid-induced mast cell activation and vascular responses is not mediated by mu-opioid receptors: an in vivo microdialysis study in human skin. It actually says in title/abstract: "Because naloxone did not attenuate these effects, it is unlikely that mu-opioid...

Also- another study I came across. Sorry you'll have to google it, can't post links yet. The study was done on HEALTHY individuals, not depressed individuals, so take that for what it is worth. Tianeptine in an experimental medicine model of antidepressant action. (Cooper et al, 2015) The...
  17. The Official "Stablon is a smart drug" thread

I haven't been getting insomnia with it but my sleep hasn't been as restorative - in fact, my deep sleep % on the Sleep as Android app has decreased a bit since starting tianeptine sulfate (25 mg once per morning). After research I learned that mu opioid agonists (which tianeptine, and its...
  18. Best pre-workout atm?

I like Plazma by Biotest (no stims) and a nice 16 oz black coffee. I've noticed too much caffeine, and in it's anhydrous form, gives me a bit anxiety.

  20. Interesting study on Coffee, Caffeine, Hunger, and Peptide YY

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Coffee, hunger, and peptide YY. (2012) ^^ Search that, can't post links yet. I wanted to post this because a lot of people here take caffeine as a fat burner or as a decent appetite suppressant, this study was interesting in that decaf coffee...
