  1. Confused on calories

Alright, I might do some cardio on off days.
  2. Confused on calories

Keep in mind I'm 16, so I'm sitting in school for round 7am to 2pm, I go home, sit more. So yeah only really active for the hour I'm in the gym. Also, for macros, I try for at least 200g protein while on this cut, and try to not go above 150g carbs. Fats are unknown as of now, but I usually have...
  3. Confused on calories

Tried one week of 2500 no difference, so I'm lowering it to 2200 at most. I want to hold off on cardio for now, but if I have to keep lowering cals, I'll add in cardio so I don't eat too little.
  4. Confused on calories

Started training last may at 156 pounds, shot up to 208, lost some weight after creatine. I am 5'10, 16, and currently 202 pounds, and my TDEE calculator says 2500 calories for cutting. This seems a little too high, I know I'm still in puberty and growing, but 2500 is like the normal man's...
  5. Tea Popular?

Caffeine? I currently use de-caf, just for personal preference, but apparently caffeinated holds slightly more benefits than decaf.
  6. Tea Popular?

Anyone on these forums fond of drinking tea? Pre-workout, post, before bed, any time? I personally enjoy black tea, and green tea, but have to say I enjoy black tea slightly more. Just a question I was thinking of, not sure how popular tea is in the weightlifting world. If you do drink, do you...
  7. Calories look correct?

Not at all, it's my first time using weight, I'm actually approaching my one year anniversary of being at the gym lol. But yeah, I'm thinking 2100-2500 is fine, since maintenance is around 3000-3500.
  8. Calories look correct?

I was doing as low as 2140 the first few days, but I feel like 2530 might be better on training days. 2,900ish seems way too high.
  9. Calories look correct?

Other thoughts on these amounts of calories for a cut? I used TDEE, it seems insanely high.
  10. Calories look correct?

Just checked again..for cutting it says 2,915..!? That seems insanely high for a "cut". Also 146-364 carbs depending on what type of carb options you choose. But 2,915? That can't be right. Also, forget to mention, I use krill oil.
  11. Calories look correct?

Trying to lose fat, I'm 16, 5'10, and 208 pounds. Most of my weight isn't fat, a decent amount is muscle, as I've gone up from a weight of 158 since last May. Anyways, does 2,538 calories seem like enough for a cut on training days, and 2,130 on off days? I currently work out 6 days a week, on...
  12. HMB and BCAAs

Any advantage to dosing HMB-Ca above the recommended 3g daily? Specifically while on a cut?
  13. SlavicStrong's Follidrone 2.0 Log

Day 21 Back and Biceps, was a little apprehensive to go heavy because of the chest, but I did and felt perfect. As I said before, deadlifts are my weakest, but today did 225 for at least 8 reps. I am using HMB Ca now just to see if it allows me to workout 6 days a week easier.
  14. HMB and BCAAs

I have a bottle of HMB right now, that I'm using to try and see if it allows me to workout 6 days a week easier. Read that it's good to use if you train frequently, and hit muscles twice a week, which is what I do.
  15. SlavicStrong's Follidrone 2.0 Log

Day 20 Legs, increased squat from 275 for 5, and today did 285 for 5. 10 more pounds, same amount of reps, sounds good to me.
  16. HMB and BCAAs

Interested in cutting a bit of fat off my body, not sure how much yet, but I plan to try my and begin my cut within this month. Anyways, I'm thinking of buying bulk HMB-CA and BCAAs as my two primary supplements to preserve muscle while on a cut, thoughts? HMB-Ca seems to have mixed reviews, but...
  17. SlavicStrong's Follidrone 2.0 Log

Day 19 First day of chest since injury, took it very light, 135 for 20 on bench, then 95 did for 20, with a slowed pace, did 25 pound dumbbells, push-ups, all light work to not aggravate or make the injury worse.
  18. SlavicStrong's Follidrone 2.0 Log

I know..I never really realized how much the pec is involved in even the simplest movements, until it hurts doing those simple movements. ughh, should be 100% by Monday though, then I plan to do light chest work at first.
  19. SlavicStrong's Follidrone 2.0 Log

I'd love to, ideally, hit back and biceps, but even bending down hurts, so that eliminates deadlifting. However, it is improving, a lot less pain. Sleeping is annoying too..laying down on the side of the pulled pec..ouch!(pain goes away though after like 20 seconds, but those 20 seconds..)
  20. Pulled something on my chest?

Seems I've pulled my left pectoral..I know there's not much I can do but rest, however, any advise to speed up the recovery?
