I'm training madcow 5x5 with my friend that is fairly new to lifting. I'm back on madcows so I scaled him down in weight and were building him up. His squats, rows and deads are progressing nicely and ohp is not to far behind but his bench is stalling out around 165lbs... We are working on...
Agree on driving through the heels... I found a double over hand grip works best for me. Heavy weight, low reps, and always from the dead position. Unless I'm doing stiff legs, but that is another tale..
I've used Jack3d for 4 months or so now, just had a health screening through work, and my blood pressure was lower (and where it should be) than it was last year when I wasnt taking any stimulants (other than caffeine of course).
275 bench and dead sure... But plus 75 to dip and chins??? Fuark!!
Watching the Olympics now and most of those sprinters and pretty jacked, but big quads def make you faster. Now most of the marathon runnings I've seen do look pretty frail. But to each there own. I prefer boxing for my cardio.
I did smith flat bench the other day on a power day, just because all the benches were taken at the time. 305lbs felt pretty good and was able to go just a tad deeper. I wouldn't do it all the time, but prolly not bad every once and a while.
I run the EC for every cut (bronkaid and caffine) I can easily drop bf with that in addition to my standard 20/40/40 diet.
I have heard to drop the Aspirin just to lighten the stress to the liver/kidneys. As 3 a day for 4-6 weeks can add up... And the only pros to Asprin with EC is supposed...
“They” say that until boys start to produce testosterone (around 13) that any muscles building program won’t be very affective. I agree that sports and martial arts would be better in the early years to teach discipline, coordination and form.
