  1. Looking for the best nootropic

No effect off of noopept? Did you use it under the tongue? Selank and Semax nose drops are good I like taking bromanatan before workouts. Bacopa, rhodiola, ashwagandha, ginseng, are all standard herbs for such purposes. Also, I noticed that actual plain old piracetam is absent from your...

  5. Article: Bracing Vs Arching

Great, another article telling us everything we've been told is completely wrong Also, those squats in the videos are little baby half squats that most people on this site will scoff at, which sort of obscures the message that he is trying to send The message being, "arch your back but not too...
  6. Article: Powerlifting Vs Bodybuilding

And for what its worth, I workout at the University of Georgia weightroom, and the kids that are clearly into Westside-style powerlifting A) are the most jacked B) lift the most weight C) do it with the best form. So I cant really speak to the "all powerlifters are obese thing" I think it its...
  7. Article: Powerlifting Vs Bodybuilding

Hmm, I see it differently. I see performance as being a physical phenomenon, not a subjective aesthetic. And lifting a high volume of lighter weights can be a useful training tool, but it will never be as physically and neurologically challenging as lifting a bigger weight a smaller number of times.
  8. Article: Powerlifting Vs Bodybuilding

"Most powerlifters are clinically obese (with no muscle definition), perpetually injured, and, astonishingly, only marginally developed by bodybuilding standards." i think you will be e-lynched for this sentence right here, and well deserve it Many people are more interested in performance...

  12. IGF-1 for Central Nervous System Repair?

Hello, I am interested in researching the potential role IGF-1 can play in the repair of central nervous system myelin lesions/inflammation, specifically in the cervical spinal cord. I have noticed there are a great variety of IGF forms and derivatives; do they all effect the same tissues...
  13. Article: Lifting Is A Way Of Life

Is that chick in the photo not exhibiting an over-arched lower back? Seems like that would be putting the pinch on the spinal discs. Also, should you really be looking up like that during a low bar squat? Seems like she is looking up instead of just forward. I try and keep a straighter back...
  14. Belt made my deadlift feel worse; belt problem or form pro

Yeah I was doing conventional style, didnt try sumo with the belt; I guess thats reassuring that some other people have had issues doing conventional with a belt. 15. Belt made my deadlift feel worse; belt problem or form pro

Hello, today I used my thick Spud Inc belt during squats and deadlifts. Squatting with it felt pretty intuitive and normal, but it made my deadlifts feel awkward, like I couldnt use the movement pattern I typically use or something. I dont understand the test he describes at all; stand with back mildly arched and knees at 90 degrees and use the arms to push the butt to the heels? It should look like a sideways squat? Huh?
