KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

Yes, this sounds a lot like me. I have always picked things up super quickly get an understanding of a lesson halfway through and become bored as it was being finished explaining. I have had a very natural athleticism and pick new things up quickly. Once good at something enough to satisfy my...

Love it, not sure it works that way, but I like the genius part! ;) Agreed and honestly, I have some of the strongest almost unbreakable focus and attention to things I enjoy. To the point I have to force myself to stop doing things I like to do the things I need to. They call it super focus or...

    Building Back Up

It might be easier to keep going than to take a break and start back at it. You already have the right mindset.

That breakfast looks good, and very smart on using PVC as a conduit.

It really is a thing, I didn't even realize it until I read it in an ADHD self help book and was like, yeah, that is so true. I can't tell you how often I avoid, forget, or ignore things I consider to be ceremonial rather than required for a task. I have often thought if I could just harness...

KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

Isn't it odd how people are wired so differently. I am super go with the flow, outside of people crossing my boundaries that is. I honestly have a hard time maintaining a schedule or doing things regularly. In fact 90% of the ADHD self help out there requires that you do certain processes over...

    Segansational's Motivation Log

I think it comes down to what or why you are doing it. The idea behind them from my understanding is to add volume for hypertrophy at a weight were you get plenty of practice and start to learn to hold position during fatigue. I think the volume will work for hypertrophy regardless of exercise...

    Building Back Up

Congrats on the new low. Based on your current physique, are you considering pushing lower than the original 200, or are you pretty happy with your composition now?

Not really, however, when I decide to take a nap I am normally physically gone already. Also in true ADHD form, I do not pay attention to things I am not really interested in doing. They typically don't even cross my mind. I have to set up reminders to remember to get those type of things done...

KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

I was considering trying to knock out my pull session yesterday since I have PT tonight, but I was so exhausted when I got home. I ended up taking a nap, waking up for dinner and then going to lay back down. A big part of that was I did my walk outside yesterday and it was close to 100 with high...

    Segansational's Motivation Log

Another thought, consider the RDL for the BBB sets, and perhaps lower the reps a bit to avoid fatigue. Should overall be safer than full ROM deads for that, and allows you to build lower intensity volume, by using 50% of the deadlift working weight.

    Segansational's Motivation Log

Are you sure it is the squats and deadlifts causing the issue and not the amount of lower back work you have been doing with clearing the branches from the yard? I agree with this, if an empty bar and partial deadlift concerns you, then a loaded full range should be more concerning. If you are...

    Slicin' and Dicin'

Yeah, you tend to have that high strength endurance so you can lift a lot closer to your 1Rm for reps than the average lifter. So it is likely a little skewed. I know, every time I keep seeing them I think wonder what his progress would be without all the joker sets taxing his CNS regularly...

    8-10 Week Shred

if you want an easy way to isolate that muscle that pulls the stomach in you can lie on your back and do it so you aren't fighting gravity, then try it, you will get a tighter contraction that will help with the mind muscle connection once standing.

GP’s Old Man With A Plan Log

Sounds about right, when I was around there during my bulk for my show I was having thoughts about women I would have normally not even given a second glance. Sometimes the further away from my regular taste, the dirtier the thoughts. LOL

    Hyde’s Strength Odyssey

It has to be pretty cool knowing you can PR at this weight by doing something you can do for a few reps already. Very excited for you.
