I would focus on the weak points that caused the issue in the first. I assume the injury happened when bowling a ball which would mean something like walking lunges is required (I would do high rep body weight). I would also make sure to be doing lots of hamstring work and light seated and...
I agree with the above post. What if find yourself 2 weeks in with 400mg and not being able to handle the side effects. What are you gonna do then? You should know the potential side effects (on cycle and through PCT) and be prepared to deal with them before you start.
Personally I would start...
Did the initial injury hurt allot? Does the knee “bite” with pain when you move around? I am a 58 yr old powerlifter who still squats deep and heavy every week and has had lots of knee “injuries” (small meniscus tears) that amount to nothing after a month or so of proper rehab.
I have had...
I would break it up where I push pull weights twice a week and then cardio and smaller accessories like core, biceps, calves, conditioning like sled pulling / pushing, ropes etc.. on the other two days. Pushing to failure on the same exercises 3-4 times a week is a recipe for injury and mental...
That second stretch is one I do almost daily. You want to feel it down low in the serratus and let it pull your shoulder up - go easy! It's my #1 stretch and the reason I am still pressing heavy at 58yrs old.
I also use a theracane (lots of cheap knockoffs) to get deep in the armpit and all around that area ( pec minor, lats etc) a few times a week. It really helps shoulder mobility.
58 yr old here. Side sleeping wrecks the shoulder (the whole quadrant in fact) I am sleeping on especially if its a bit of a jacked up shoulder to start with. If I sleep on my "bad shoulder" pretty much all night for a couple of nights in a row, I am screwed for days trying to continue working...
Allot of great advice above. I will add to consider leaving at least one perfect form rep in the tank on your weaker side per set. You can easily make this allot worse if you try to rush it. Just get volume of sets in with good quality reps. Don’t take steroids. Don’t take bpc 157. Stop...
ya, they can get settle funny in the bottle - especially if they have been sitting. I got some bottles that are more than a year old and I have to shake them up quite a bit to get them to re-mix.
Well there are many approaches to dry needling depending on who is doing it. All of them use longer needles (longer than 1" and up to 6"), but some people aggressively move the needle in and out and and different directions (covering a larger area with one needle) and some people just stick them...
Without chiro (a chiro that lifts and adjusts lifters) and dry needling (a good dry needler), I would not still be powerlifting at 58 yrs old. I do chiro once a week and love dry needling when I get injured. It gets me great results especially for lower back / lower body. I can depend on it, but...
