KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

This has me thinking now about what have we learned in the last decade or so that wasn't known or surprised people in the fitness / muscle building world. 1. Fasting absolutely has a place in the pursuit of an aesthetic physique, and even performance world. 2. Long Range Partials being as...

The Biggest Smont ever! 🤔 Lets find out

I have been using an exercise bike for my cardio and pushing the resistance up for this very reason. They have Peleton bikes there at the gym but they want you to have a Peleton account which is a bit ridiculous at a gym. IMHO.

    Building Back Up

That is still some good work for paused squats, I am sure it did the trick!

I love that the chicken matches her hair! Such a cutie!!! How does she feel about eating them or do you only do them for eggs?

KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

As Arnold said there is no right way for everyone. You have to find the right way for you. Some people do better with lower volume higher intensity, and vice versa. I think that is always a part of the issue. A lot of things work, and work well even if they seem to conflict with one another...

LMAO!!! Dude is hilarious but I wish he would shut up with his preaching woke nonsense and just entertain. It's like Dude, no one takes you seriously, why are you preaching like people should. Good to know. I have only used the old PEA, way back when, that and phenibut during my bulk powder...

    1. That also makes a lot of sense. 2. Great point, I will keep that in mind. Once I get some I will likely be using it relatively quickly. It isn't cheap, so I won't be purchasing it until I am ready to put it to use. On Studies: That, and also quite simply there wasn't enough interest or...

The Biggest Smont ever! 🤔 Lets find out

Ugh, I hate to hear that, my knee is another problem I have been dealing with for about 6 weeks now. I have to be very careful with what I am doing and kind of stuck doing body weight stuff myself right now. Some days I could leg press but my lower back was so agged I had to stop leg press for a...

KLEEN LIVING - A log about Life, Training, and Nutrition.

Yeah, a lot of studies for fitness and performance based stuff seem to be behind the "bro-science" curve. I feel like a lot of what we are learning is really just proving pre-existing bro-science to be accurate. One of the bigger things recently that was a real shake up was that long range...

DaPack..Fighting Age One Day at a Time

Agreed, the 8 hour feeding window is the bees knees for someone wanting to be able to grow on IF. I never had a problem getting my protein in with that, or really any other form of fasting as long as I was locked in. However when doing it as more of a lifestyle situation it is easy to come up...

I think there is some collagen action that increases with heavy holds, but I don't remember for certain.

    Hyde’s Strength Odyssey

Thanks @Hyde I think I am going to get some and see how things go. It seems like it should address a lot of my current issues. Plus if it can help with my gut, I will be happy. My gut ain't quite what it used to be.

DaPack..Fighting Age One Day at a Time

To be fair, that is one thing with the fasting if you are not paying attention the protein can dip easily. Once you kind of get settled into not eating a few meals a day you have to be intentional about getting your protein in.

So is GLOW the same thing as KLOW, I noticed you seemed to use both in my log when discussing the KLOW. So just curious if they are something different or just called by 2 names.

    Anabolic memes

A customer review Filled by the Marlboro Man himself. This savory shake has a nutty flavor, it can be a little clumpy, and gets frothy if you shake for too long. Best drank warm, this hydrating drink is loaded with sodium to keep you going when things get down and dirty. When you want your...

DaPack..Fighting Age One Day at a Time

It seems so hardcore for someone who was cool with 50g protein a day just a few days ago. :) Good to see you making the small adjustments that will help with recovery!

Yes, I definitely think that incorporating carries into my recovery is going to be important. As you may have seen some light carries are already being done and this garage reorg was a HUGE test for my lower back, as well as neck. I definitely plan to start adding some more aggressive carries...

    Slicin' and Dicin'

I would say the bracing is key for sure. He should be completely braced before he ever breaks the bar loose from the j-cups, It is much harder to recover an unstable barbell on your back than it is to be stable from the beginning to the end. Then like you said, take 2 steps back and then ground...
