  1. Adaptogens?

Okay, I think I understand now. Based on what you and kissdadookie are saying, it provides energy at first because it's trying to create a balance (with me being so tired in the morning). However, once it's created that balance, I would no longer feel that initial energy but also wouldn't feel...
  2. Adaptogens?

Do you think that lack of tolerance build up might be due to Gaia's lower dosage (and that higher dosage products like Eclectic Institute would cause tolerance)?
  3. Adaptogens?

I've tried lower doses of Rhodiola (Gaia Herbs) and it worked at first (week or so) but stopped providing energy after that. I switched to Eclectic Institute a couple days ago and that seems to be working better (provides a real sense of calm). My only concern is that the dosage is much higher...
  4. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Which ones can be taken for a majority of the year? I've been seeing CDP Choline and Galantamine mentioned a lot lately. Would either of those be a better long-term option than Huperzine A?
  5. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Does anyone know if it's safe to take Huperzine A daily (200-300 mcg/day) on a long-term basis? I've found some sources that recommend cycling it and others that say it's okay for long-term daily use. I'm hoping someone on here has more experience with its use and maybe provide insight on the...
  6. Herbal Supplement for Memory

I just read a couple articles that mentioned vinpocetine decreasing dopamine levels. They didn't mention the dosage at which that occurs. Does anyone know if 30 mg per day of vinpocetine would be okay?
  7. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Daily for three months before work. After that I tried it (or another choline source) with various nootropics (oxiracetam, aniracetam, noopept, phenylracetam, picamilon, extra alcar, etc). The best combinaion was by far focus xt with picamilon.
  8. Herbal Supplement for Memory

I previously tried Focus XT for a few months. While it definitely helped a lot with mood, focus and energy, it didn't seem to help me with the brain fog or memory issues.
  9. Herbal Supplement for Memory

    Forget to take what?
  10. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Yes. I take 1 g of DHA and 500 mg of EPA daily.
  11. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Personally, huperzine A is the only nootropic to provide a big impact. I also tried choline and aniracetam a few months ago. However, all it did was make me tired all the time. For me, nothing beats vinpocetine and huperzine a for focus and memory. I'm still trying to find the best long-term...
  12. Herbal Supplement for Memory

You're right. That's a much smarter approach than trying too many new things at once. I'll start with bacopa (for mood and cognition benefits). Do you think that (250 mg @ 45%) combined with huperzine (100 mcg) and vinpocetine (10 mg) two or three times a day would be a good starter stack for...
  13. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Thank you Bioman. I appreciate you letting me pick your brain. All these herbal ingredients are very interesting but it's also difficult to find consistent information about them (which makes it even more beneficial to have someone like you on here to help confused people like me). So, based...
  14. Herbal Supplement for Memory

So, in your opinion would a dosage of 120 mg Ginkgo and 15 mg Vinpocetine (taken twice each day) fall within safe dosages? Also, I like the Huperzine A in the formula because I've noticed better results from that than from traditional choline sources (Alpha GPC, CDP Choline, etc.). So, I was...
  15. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Thank you everyone for your responses. I'm going to order some Bacopa to help with my memory. I read that Bacopa can make some people tired. So, should I combine it with Rhodiola Rosea (for energy) to offset this...or is this not a viable longterm solution since I've found it mentioned in...
  16. Herbal Supplement for Memory

Does anyone see a problem with taking a supplement twice each day which contains 120 mg of Ginkgo Biloba, 15 mg of Vinpocetine and 75 mcg of Huperzine A? I'm hoping this would help with my brain fog and memory issues.
