Getting stronger will go hand in hand with gaining at least a little more size, as long as you consistently train for mobility and flexibility you shouldn't have any issues performing crossfit workouts with increased muscle mass (i.e. pro crossfit athletes) as far as supplements go basic...
It's hard to find one that has macros as good as Select. Core Pro is a good alternative and if you're really looking to save money and a little less scrupulous about macros Promore can be found for cheap.
If you read the responses in this thread http://anabolicminds.com/forum/black-lion-research/279849-follidrone-2-0-a.html, you'll find most would take the two pre workout and one later on.
If you aren't working out for more than an hour then I don't feel there is a need for "intra" workout supplements, Peak 02 is a worthwhile ingredient but would be best utilized pre workout IMO.
