Gynocomastia Surgery

After dealing with it for 12+ years, I'm finally having the surgery next week. I've had it since puberty and it's always been my biggest insecurity. Mine is stage 2 so not the worst you've seen but certainly not great. Over a decade of refusing to go to the beach or a public pool, or even wear a grey t shirt no matter how lean I am.

I'm sure there are quite a few guys in the forums that have had the surgery. I'm open to any and all advise and tips for post-op. I have 4 weeks off work and the gym, I'm going to lose my mind and feel like a skinny bitch 🤣

I'm just here to follow the journey to recovery. One day il need to get surgery. I've hid mine pretty well, but when I get really lean I can see the lumps when flexing and it definitely bothers me. If I'm going to take my shirt off at the pool or something I do a quick nipple check, if they look puffy, I usually go straight for the water because when the cold water hits you it tightens the skin and shrinks nipple size a bit lol. In all reality, I have a lot of friends whose chest fat looks more like gyno than my actual gyno does, but I know it's there and it bothers me sometimes. You could definitely use BPC/TB combo post surgery to speed things up

If folks are interested I can definitely document the experience. I would post pics but I am completely covered in tattoos, and would rather not due to my job lol.

Also, I've definitely been leaning towards BPC/TB ... Really would like to go the KLOW route but I heard the pip is gnarly

I don't think you need to post any pictures for something like that, I'm really just curious how you feel after the surgery how much of a pain in the ass it is to keep the area clean and how long before you can get back to working out.

I don't know what all the new abbreviations for these things are. GLOW, KLOW ect. If GHK-CU in the mix then it's probably going to be pretty painful as the compound itself seems to irritate the injection site pretty significantly.

BPC + TB should significantly improve recovery especially if you start it early on post surgery. HGH would be a bonus as well.

There's also nothing wrong with just letting things run their course and heal. I'm sure any injection around the surgery areas post op is going to be pretty painful anyways

Yeah I can definitely keep this thread going with updates for sure.

I had pubertal gyno and got surgery a decade ago. They also did lipectomy in the area to remove pseudogyno (estrogenic chest fat) and help sculpt it. But they do normally leave some gyno there behind the nipple to avoid a sunken nipple - you will need to talk with the doc to see if you really need this, because anything left can then grow/will be hormonally responsive still. If you are truly lean prior, you won’t need this really, so get as lean as you can ideally.

10 years of cycling steroids for powerlifting since and things are still WAY better than they were prior, even with tissue regrowth, so I really do recommend getting surgery. It will really give you a lot of self-confidence back.

It will take MONTHS for the inflammation to come down and final shape to set in, scars heal, etc. You can get back to the gym in a month or whatever but there isn’t like an immediate reveal; it takes some time to get everything to where you will want to take your shirt off. Again, WORTH IT.

I just used 2 bottles of GLOW to finish this last meet prep for all kinds of little niggles. I would not recommend it for this; you won’t be able to get local enough with the shots to help. Just take some TB500 (which you can pin anywhere) for a few weeks and call it a day. I healed fine without any peptides years ago.

I believe Paul Barnett from anabolic bodybuilding had to get the same gyno surgery three times because it kept coming back

Yeah I’ll probably get it again someday if I ever wanted to get and stay lean. As is, I’m bulky enough it’s a non-issue. But previously it was an issue even at any fat.

I love going swimming in public and such as is, I walk my neighborhood topless in the summer. Even if the reduction isn’t total, it will be a huge positive difference.

Welp, surgery is complete!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

That being said, I squat with a safety bar on day 11 and gave myself a hematoma that took months to dissolve. I was not aware of how long the recovery time is on this procedure, how easy you need to be for a few weeks. It also takes time for the suture wounds to heal & fade, plus the inflammation to go down and skin to tighten up on the chest.

Be patient! You made a good longterm investment in your mental health & self-confidence.

Yikes, I didn't remember that!

Welp, this definitely hurts gentleman lol. Woke up today and it feels like Satan himself gave me an ultimate titty twister.

I remember taking the hydrocodone for a couple days or so, then I was getting itchy & constipated from it and switched to just ibuprofen. But I remember being surprised how badly everything ached!
