unfortunately, there are some Endocrinologist that have this stigma with Testosterone and the minute they can yank you of it, they do. That's what happened to me. My testosterone level was 245. 100 points below the low range at lap corp. That was with 40mg a day with androgel. I got 0 benefit...
I'm currently in week 3 of 12 on my 500mg Test Cap cycle. Prior to this was on TRT, androgel....yeah i know. Anyway in two months of using the gel my HB went from 15.8 to 18.3 and hematocrit went from 46% to 51%. Before starting test, i decided to donate blood, 2 donations to be exact. a...
So i saw a hematologist this week that will do phlebotomy if needed. I will see her every 4-6 weeks, She doesn't worried about acquired polycythemia until it's over 56% and there always the likelihood that hematocrit/hemaglobin levels eventually level off but she agrees that it was a poor...
Not sure but I am scheduling a sleep study also seeing a Hematologist tomorrow. My Doc seems to think being that I'v been so low adding any type of exogenous test may have initially made my body respond this way. My numbers in Dec were 16.7 and 46%. Since my last Doctors visit i've given two...
i called this one from a mile away.......Doc told me to stop androgel. making me go see a hematologist...He didn't like when I questioned him on why...I told him it's obvious it's secondary polycythemia. Told him going off hormones cold Turkey is dangerous and I will be seeking a second...
one thing that i realized to is that over the 8 weeks i've consumed on average 3-4 days a week of red meat. Sirloin steaks, I'm talking 16-20oz 3-4 times a week. That could play a part of the hemoglobin/hemoticrit levels going up. my RBC count is in the normal range
Doc just did:
Total test: 245 (Prior to starting androgel , 295)
Estrodial: 29.1
Estrone, Serum: 64
I'm on two pumps of Androgel 1.62..
also Hemotocrit: 51.3
Hemoglobin: 18.2
I thought transdermal apps were somewhat easier on the Hemotocrit and Hemoglobin end. It took almost 18 months...
will do. At first my endocrinologist thought i was just trying for a script for test. I told him it's much easier for me to get it from other sources than him. When he saw my bloodwork results, he went from cynical to somewhat understanding.
yeah, I'm in NJ i actually have a place to go if I don't get the treatment I want. My pituitary function tests were normal, so I was clinically determined to be primary hypogonadism. My endocrinologist is also treating my hypothyroidism as well. So the one stop shop idea originally was a...
Long story short, I'm 37. I was on TRT a few years ago. 100mg Test Cyp a week. However my RBC and hematocrit level went sky high. I was advised to come off and I did. Not really knowing any better I never followed up on it until a few months ago. My Test levels came back at 290 and free...
