  1. What's missing in your Protein Supplement?!!

All great suggestions! I've always had people telling me there should be other ingredients (such as extra BCAA's and Glutamine added in), but I agree and always thought a protein product should contain just that...PROTEIN! Most of you suggest a specific ratio, or at least a supplement fact panel...
  2. Weight Gain Help

All of these are great ideas! Make sure your hitting it heavy in the gym (5-8 reps with longer rest btwn sets!) and hitting the tried and true mass builder exercises (deadlift, squats, bench)...here are some foods to give a try that can help as well!: HERRING- Eat six ounces of herring an hour...
  3. What's missing in your Protein Supplement?!!

What you guys think may be missing in protein powders nowadays? Higher dosage of BCAA's or Glutamine? Or are there other ingredients you all would add to your current protein supplement?
  4. A good "PUMP" blend?

Sorry for delay on response here! yok3d does only have arginine nitrate, not the creatine nitrate like schizm stated. @ mr. copper69- I agree that only one nitrate needs to be included, from all the feedback on creatine nitrate that looks like it would be preffered by most. I agree on...
  5. A good "PUMP" blend?

interesting...why do you say pass on GPLC? would you suggest creatine nitrate + arginine nitrate + agmatine? The pwo I'm looking to combine it with already contains 2,500mg citrulline so I'm thinking mainly just products shown to be more specifically "pump" oriented. I have read studies...
  6. A good "PUMP" blend?

Thought I would toss this out here to you guys to get your thoughts. Does this look like a good PUMP product that you would take with your pwo or even use by itself: Glycine Propionyl L-Carnitine Hydrochloride (GlycoCarn)- 4,500mg Creatine Nitrate- 1,500mg Just want to get everyones thoughts...
  7. 1,3-dimethylamylamine in water?

interesting...everyone seems to test differently with this ingredient. Are you taking anything else with it? Things as simple as caffeine can even make you test positive.
  8. 1,3-dimethylamylamine in water?

You should have no problem with this ingredient in water. If it were unstable when mixed with water it would make no sense for all the supplement companies to put it in their pre-workout formulas that require being mixed in water (Not saying it that way to come off as a smartass or anything!!)...
  9. Maltodextrin

Simple carbs are going to give you that quick energy boost (so taking pre-workout makes perfect sense...I always like eating an apple with my pwo!). The sugars your gonna take in with many of your simple carb sources can kill your cutting if not taken in at the proper time needed (as autokal...
  10. Maltodextrin

I woulddn't take too much before your cardio in a fasted state. Certain other ingredients, such as raspberry ketones, coleus forskohlii, guarana, yerba mate, and many others also assist in your bodys ability to burn fat...but I would stick with caffeine myself on empty stomach and take a fat...
  11. Maltodextrin

Very true! It is a larger carbohydrate than other sources, so it's not a bad idea to cut down your scoop size to get the amount necessary for your size/goal (plus it'll get you more servings out of a bottle which is always a plus!). If you’re planning on doing a cardio/interval session first...
  12. PreWorkout Homebrews

Definitely some great concoctions! This one makes me want to stay in the gym for hours and then go clean the house when I get home!: 5g -L-Arginine AAKG 2g -L-Arginine Malate 2.75g -Creatine Monohydrate 500mg -N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine 250mg -Caffeine Anhydrous 60mg -1,3 dimethylamylamine 2.5g...
  13. Maltodextrin

Like Rodja says, the amount of malto in the actual prodcut most likely will not be high enough to kill your dieting process. Just for reference though, there have been some studies done comparing Maltodextrin, dextrose, and waxy maize as good sources of a pre or post workout carbohydrate and did...
