This is the best explanation of working a specific muscle group I have ever read. This should be a sticky or must-read or something. Either way thanks man
This is exactly what I am currently doing on my cut/recomp and it is working wonders. I have been dropping body fat and building muscle simultaneously for the past 2 months. Nutrient timing really changes the game.
100% agree with this article. Not saying you can't enjoy a cheat meal or day once in awhile but overall you have to eat healthy. I weighed 325 at one point. I was able to get down to 255 with diet alone. I'm now 200 at around 15% bf and dropping from finally cleaning up the diet.
currently I take in 75-190 fat 150-250 carbs 175-250 protein. I cycle them depending on the intensity of my workout and have found that works beat for me. I did consider the lean mass gain but 5lbs in 2 weeks? Also, what do you think about the ammonia smell? I got it pretty consistently after...
Does anyone else find it impossible to control their appetite when doing HIIT? I lift very intensely 6 days a week and tried incorporating HIIT to ramp up fat loss and literally could not control myself. I gained 5lbs in two weeks while doing HIIT. Also while doing HIIT I could smell ammonia in...
I've been running xgels 1g/4 gels for about 10 days alone with a baby aspirin preworkout and I am feel the difference. How much will I benefit from LCAR? Also my wife was going by a vitamin shoppe and I asked her to see if they had Glycerol. She bought me Creatine Glycerol Phosphate? Anyone ever...

30 minutes of slow steady cardio post workout on all other training days except leg day.
I lift sometimes 7 days a week focusing on a single muscle group per day usually lasts...
Thanks for the replay man. My goal is single digit body fat.
I am an ex life long fat guy. Actually weighed in at 325 at one point but I always lifted heavy (people used to ask me if I was a strongman) I had acute necrotizing pancreatitis 4 years ago and spent an extended period of time in the...

My life is set up as such. I don't work (stay at home Dad) I know it's pretty sweet. My diet is clean. Protein shake (PES select) upon waking at 7:30 with some DAA and alphamine. Two hours later I have 4 eggs and a baked potato. For lunch I typically have 10-14...
