I wouldn't think so. That's pretty small. I draw w/ a 22g and shoot w/ a 25g pin. Unless the gear is EO based I don't think you can get much smaller than a 25g.

You could hit the muscle with a 1/2" if you're injecting into the delt, pec, or bicep. Most opt for 1" , though, just to be on the safe side.

25g/ 1 inch needle is the smallest i'd go with gear.
